Iraq is not a problem or its people. Only the Shia extremists. The Iranian Mullah's are pushing all the buttons and use Iraq to gain access to other Arab countries. We all know this. They supply the Child-Murderer with weapons after using Iraqi airspace. There can be very good and brotherly ties to the Sunni Arabs at least whom share tribal ties to not only Syrians but Saudis, Jordanians, Kuwaitis and other Arabs too.
Right now Iraq, since it is being led by a Shia Islamist government close to Iran, is not a friendly nation but they are neither a enemy as in real enemy. Their leadership might be. That's all. Iran is the main number 1 enemy for all Sunni Arab countries.
UAE, Kuwait and even KSA have started to invest in Iraq. UAE quite a lot and for quite a long time. So not all is doom and gloom. It would be better for Iraq to have closer ties to it's 4 Arab neighbors and the Arab world, especially GCC, but if the religious Shia majority will continue to elect Shia Islamists who are very close to Iran then nothing will change.
