The money will be spend for the development of Kashmir by the puppet regime and I don't see where the looting takes place.

I'm not wrong in thinking that,in fact, Indian Kashmir is entirely supported (financially) by the Indian federal govt ie (contrary to the common fallacy) JK is a net receiver of funds from "India"?

also why is there only a kashmir war section for senior members? we should have a general Kashmir section under Pakistan or regional affairs to discuss all matters, including politics and development (like this).

the change starts in your minds if you want to deliver justice to them. treat kashmiris as sovereign minded people, rather than a piece of property belonging to either of us. when they can successfully convey a unified message through politics or plebiscite, then heed their demands to classify them as whatever they wish. but not before they have done that, or even been given a chance to do so. for the time being, treating them as independent is the best we can do for them.

What utter nonsense. As I have said above the state of JK is entirely financially supported by New Delhi. Without being in the Indian union the state of JK would not have even 1/10th of the tourist revenue if currently enjoys nor would it have projects such as the billion dollar rail and road tunnels being built.

No one can deny some terrible times have been experienced by the Kashmiri people in the past and neither side (Pakistan or India) is entirely free of blame.


And what wealth does JK have exactly for India to "loot"? Yes there is plenty of beauty in the state but its not like there is extensive mineral wealth the Indian state is gaining from the valley.

@WebMaster @Oscar @Aeronaut:I understand your sentiments about J&K,but this project was built and executed by a government which is the part of India,on state which is again the part of India.
The funding,execution etc all comes from people and institutions which are a part of India.
This thread being in Pakistan Section is entirely wrong. Kindly move it to the Indian section.

We have our own Parliament, PM, Pres. even we have our own Flag.

Only thing we r dependent on them is on funds,jobs n resources of because we r a very very small area with even smaller population.
