Bahi I know real Think Tanks in ISB who are employed by govt to brief staff level military officer. Privately they even admit everything is f’ed up and country is headed for a disaster, but it’s about their bread and butter. The only good thing to come out of this mess is that people are no longer fooled by ISPR music videos anymore. The GHQ is viewed as an arm of a foreign power masquerading as the “military of Pakistan”.

Emergency can delay federal election but 18th amendment PPPP insisted it should not include provincial assemblies as they don't have to deal with"emergencies/war"

Hence why the provision doesn't exist for provincial assemblies

in any case, first emergency has to be declared, which is not done yet, so making that a reason to delay election is no reason.
