Sure u will one blunder can never be big enough for DRDO appetite

Failures pave the way for success. we now know what not to do while making a tank. anyways do u know how much failures it took to design a electricity generator. we believe in the ant story who tries to climb a wall not in something get it paint it test it and say "its ingenious":D

India's next Tank Project should be a JV (with Russia or France). We have to gain expertise before attempting to go indigenous. Otherwise it is just a waste of taxpayer money..:hitwall:

What about Bhishma and Dishum Dishum?

Two points for Indian members-

1) Stop being too much excited about a speculation posted in a blog. That is not official view of GOI or IA. Even the trial is not completed yet.

2) Even if Army prefers more T-90 over Arjun that will only mean that Arjun is not as good as T-90. As per Russia's credential it is an achievement itself that we are in a stage to put our product to be compared with Russian ones.(Yes, even it takes three decades). Nobody stopping us to close in the gap that is still there in comming years.

Still better than the state of Pakistan after 60 years worth of work .. Isn't it?? So relax before jumping up and down on an unconfirmed piece of news..

believe me id be wayy happier if this thing actually got inducted, as far as pakistan is concerned look where you are before you talk and keep it to the tanks.. tempted to say a lot more but mods will take care of you :pakistan::pakistan::pakistan:

I dont think mods in this forum work on your whims and fancies and nonsense can work both ways..

But you are right.. it was an emotional response and off topic..

For the Pakistani guys, are you sure that India had not learned a thing from this failure? Judging from how LCA is being handled now, the answer is a "NO" But maybe the next project will be different
As for the Indian guys in here, don't always look to the next project. With that attitute, the next project will fail just like the current one. As I mentioned, DRDO is not capable of design and manufacture tanks or planes by itself fast enough to compete against all the available foreign variations. It needs help.

On to the LCA...

As long as we are playing nostradamus and predicting future, do remember that J 17 is still behind in the timeline to Arjun (1st squad not yet fully equipped). So the statement should sound more like on to the J 17...I also remember seeing somewhere that chinese airforce decided not to induct this plane and Russians did not induct Mig 33 based whose design FC-1 is based on...

Creder is right and pretty much sums up the emotions on both sides, though his dig at Hindus was really in poor taste. For Indians its only money. Which can be replaced easily. Not so easy the opportunity and time lost to better use the same money elsewhere. Always against the backdrop of coverup versus accountability. But that is where it ends for us. For Pakistan behind all the glee and bluster and told you sos is fear. The natural fear of an adversary who is now armed with a bigger and better gun. And lots of them. After all its only money. And a ready market.
