Then it's RD-33 MK variant, and the most interesting part is it has a service life of 4000 hours.
No it's not, the UPGs have the RD33-3 series engines, which is also the base for JF 17s RD93. Only the newer Mig 29M /M2 airframes have integrated RD 33 MK version, like the Mig 29K, or the Mig 35 prototypes.
Then i guess it will miss FADEC, and neither has resolved it's smokey engine completely.
Nope, as you can see here:
Wow, with all that smoke, it seems to be like it's *** on fire.
One possible reason why we rejected the RD93, or even a Kaveri engine based on it for LCA from the start. But on the other side, with RD93 LCA might be in operational service now as well.
Btw, Mig 29K and Mig 35 prototype take off with RD33 MK engines for comparison:
What is F16 doing in the pic?
I think they have messed up again while designing the pics.
Whats happning here with this missiles :0
This looks like a missile gone bonkers "out of control" which one is it by the way
It's designed to fly like this to avoid ground fire. J/K
Gone out of control. !!
Completely wrong... Kaveri is not based on RD-33/93 engines.
Who said it would be? I said they offered RD93 for LCA, just like a co-developed Kaveri based on that engine, just like the French offer a co-developed Kaveri, based on the M88-3. But we constantly rejected Russian techs for LCA, other than weapons.
