It was a mistake-BNP leaders say party shifting from anti-India stance

Honestly - most of the BD members on this forum are nothing like the Bangladeshi's in BD. Most of the BD members on this forum do seem like Razakars. Sad over their loss of Pakistan.

The real Bangladeshi's like the real Indians want BD and India to prosper - reduce poverty first and foremost. India and BD have no huge rivalry. We are truly moving towards more and better cooperation with each other and will keep addressing each others concerns.
Well said! It's the Jamaatis in BD and Pakistan who have a congenital hatred towards India, and are squarely responsible for the mess. The sooner they change this attitude the better it will be for all round improvement in relations between our countries that will go a long way in raising the standard of living of the people of South Asia as a whole.

Cheers!

His comments are so funny, how his book a best seller.:cheesy: He was openly blaming eastwatch as RAW agent.

If BNP is trying to deceive India, It wont happen as Political parties of India have taken pHD's in dirty politics....BNP will dig their own graves.

There is no last word in politics and also when it is the relationship between two countries. BNP will do whatever is best for the country when it is in power. A promise given by an opposition leader while eating dinner or lunch is meaningless unless it is agreed upon on paper and signed by the parties. In case of india, it does not even respect its own official signature it is such a vulture country.

BNP, in power, can always deny a transit because BD infrastructure is not suitable for that. India should cough up $7 billion or more for a lumpsum construction money and should agree to pay $1billion every year for maintenance before AL or BNP can agree to a transit. Thanks for the free lunches and dinners for BKZ in India, but there will be no free transit for India that the Indians can rest assured about. In essence, it is NO transit.

You should understand that India never asked for free transit....We only asked for constructing roads for transit. India is perfectly willing to Investing those 7 billion, if we can save billions.

Now What happens if India invest 7 billion ? you get the infra and money and we get to control and leverage that transit. Either BD can deny transit completely, in which case BNP is completely useless to India and begum is wasting her time here OR BD can be a part of a greater connectivity that goes beyond BD as a country and everyone benefits.

There is nothing BNP can do hurt India, Maximum she can host all those anti india elements and let China play against India. Either way India is ready for all contingencies. Infact BD can learn from Pakistan how to hurt India  Anyways India has been playing the game so long and so well.

As for free lunches, cant believe Dhaka ran out of food.

You gotta respect that man - A good wife is one who serves her husband in the morning like a mother does, loves him in the day like a sister does and pleases him like a prostitute in the night.

He is the reason we Brahmins are hated and feared....:)

"controlling" and "using" are indian fallacies, taken india nowhere. These indian traits will never change.

Anyways India has been playing the game so long and so well.

We can see that. And look where india stand today with its game. Every single country in South Asian neighborhood detest and oppose indian interference, imposition and bully. If indians here consider that great achievement then so be it.

Jamat views is of no use here because you are less than 5% of Bangladesh's opinion. :cheesy:

I suppose your opinion is hindutva terrorist one.

It is a great achievement for us as we were able to grow despite we being in one of the most chaotic region in the world and one of our neighbour trying to pin us down since its birth. Yeah we exceeded our expectation.

Discussion is not about indian growth, its about indian interference, imposition and bully and how much india gained from such practices?

1. The Hindu - Muslim divide issue invariably crops up. Jinnah's hands were forced by the Hindu leadership for Partition. In 1962 Ayub's offer of joint defense was spurned by Nehru. A done deal that would have brought peace to SA and earned the Nobel for Bajpay and Musharraf was sabotaged at Agra by Hindu hawks in Indian leadership.

2. In our experience India has not honored even ONE commitment, pledge. promise, agreement or treaty with BD beginning with the Indira-Mujib Pact. The current Prez Pranab has been lying to us. PM MMS has been lying to us.

3. It has never been BD which was trying to be anti-India. The negative moves were always our reaction to what we have perceived as India's hatred for Bengalees on either side of the divide and her bullying nature.

4. So let's wait and see. Administrations are up for change in USA, China, Turkey,India, Pakistan and BD itself. Let's wait a while. Somehow I don't believe India is going to change color suddenly.

During those days, sex workers(Ganika) were not looked down in the society. Since your history knowledge is weak filled with religious hatred, that's an expected comment from you.
