Shaheed is a Shariah term. The source of 'shaheed' is 'shahid' that means being witness. The term 'Shaheed' means that a person did bear witness of Allah being the only Lord of the universe by offering ultimate sacrifice for His pleasure. Now using that term for dead pagans/mushriks who died while oppressing/killing innocent people is meaningless. But these idiot Indians have no brain to see the reality about the term 'Shaheed'.

Formal Urdu is fairly different to Hindi. And pretty much all the major Urdu poets (Iqbal, Ghalib, Faiz Ahmad Faiz, Khusrow, Bahadur, etc) came from Muslim backgrounds. Urdu itself is literally written in a Perso-Arabic script, and has plenty of Farsi and Arabic loanwords.

shaheed is a term as death to fight oppression its not about the army but what did the muslim soldier fight for maybe trying to fight to keep a village of muslim out of harms way . you never know
