The election is going to be close in a majority of the country, except for some rural areas, but the real danger is that no party gets an outright majority and we have a political deadlock. The last time it happened we lost half our country. I worry because of that possibility.
Comparing it to 71 would be completely naive IMO, and I don't think you are naive...those were different circumstances, there was a demand for separation and for Bengali language and other stuff, not in this case.
BTW, if there is no outright majority and no coalition is formed and no coalition is made, then what?
The worst case scenario here would be that PTI and PML both lock horns, and PPP, MQM, ANP and Maulana Diesel form a coalition yet again!!!
In that case, PTI and PML should somehow make compromises for the larger benefit of the country.
