Israeli supermarkets boycott Turkish products

With due respect, we havent heard anything about these, in this part of the world.

Is "Cola Turka" a turkish version of Coke?? Just curious.

Probably because they don't operate in your part of the world. Arcelik is the 3rd largest appliance company in Europe with a total of 15 million households using their products.

And yes it is.

Don't worry
Turks have eyed the huge market potential of the Arab and Islamic world.
More and more Arabs and muslims travel to Turkey as tourists, and Turkish products are finding their way to the Arab and muslim world.
Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek reminded delegates at Thursday's forum that trade between Turkey and the Arab world quadrupled between 2002 and 2009, Al Balad reported (Arabic link), while Turkish exports to Iran grew 500 percent over the same period, according to Reuters.
Turkish trade with the Arab world is currently around $30bn and growing. There will be a free trade agreement between turkey and arab countries boosting the number even more. Don't forget Turkey's popularity in the muslim world would also mean a huge growth in tourism and turkish products.
So the $100 million or so they will lose from Israel, is really a drop in the ocean haha

More arabs are going to turkey to enjoy those aspects of life which they are deprived of in their own nations like ( Alcohol, Liberated women and modern society )

You must've written this in a fever induced delirium but here are some facts. The US imports a small fraction of its 'gas' from the middle east. So a future middle east oil embargo "can't do jack ****" to us. It will hurt our allies in the short term but nothing a few quick regime changes won't fix.

U.S. Finished Motor Gasoline Imports

As for American industry, we can do plenty...

Talk about delusional oil is a commodity and traded on the open market if there is a disruption in supply prices will sky rocket i forget to see how this will not be an issue for you in USA.

Americans tried a regime change in Iran how did that worked out for ya or lets not forget Iraq.

.
if your comrade on this forum is to be believed, it's roughly 12%

the demand for oil in the U.S. is relatively inelastic, but it would harm your economy severely in the very hypothetical event that Middle East were to cut exports.

:disagree:

the Chinese are buying your debt and walking over you at the moment

will GM offshore all its operations to China?

The only people who still genuinely love American cars are the Saudis

American imports of automotive fuel from the persian gulf is 1% of the total world wide imports of automotive fuel. I provided a link from the US Department of Energy, the total imports of oil products from the Persian Gulf is 12%. This can easily be offset by increasing our own production and sustaining it for a few years or other nations can fill the gap with ease.

Your are dissembling, if you have the courage open another thread on American economy or oil imports from the middle east and expose your own ignorance.

Tiny? Israels economy is bigger than Pakistans.

well let me put it this way you are allowed to buy Israel bond as your retirement investment and whatever you earn on it as interest its tax free in western countries yet if i were to buy American bonds for the same purpose i have to pay Tax on my earnings.

Israeli goods have access to all western countries without duties and lets not forget billions/yr they get in aid.

You know only person that can comment likes that will have the inside information so either you are being affected in India as more tourist have chosen to go some where else for above mentioned reasons or U have an enterprise in turkey that supplies these services to demanding customers.

.
may be there is conflict between israel an turkey but reality is that israel grow much faster than other country, they r continue growing in war like situation. however what happened with recent aid ship, i think happened due to false intelligence report and Israel should apology for that and should gave compensation to killed people.

None of the above arguements makes any sense to what I have said.

Read the statements I have made and try to understand them and then put forward if you have any valid arguements.

.. disruption in supplies to the US. Middle Eastern production will continue and all that oil has to go somewhere else..

Here is a little economics 1-duh-1 for you read about the law of diminishing marginal utility. It states that supply is inversely proportional to the utility, if you don't understand then wiki it..or ask a friend.

But what it means for the rest of the world is cheaper oil, you really think the Arabs will take one for the team...

..as for regime changes I am surprised you question our efficacy as a Pakistani you should know how good we are at changing regimes..

What?

I don't think you even read what I said. One line as it was.
