huge blast which struck near Damascus airport early on Thursday was caused by Israeli missiles hitting a “military position”, Syria’s state SANA news agency reported.

“A military position southwest of Damascus International Airport was targeted at dawn today by an Israeli aggression using several missiles fired from occupied territory, sparking explosions in the area,” SANA said, citing a military source.

In the terminology of the Syrian regime, occupied territory can refer to Israel inside its internationally recognised borders.

The missiles caused “material damage”, the source said.

Next time come up with a proof not a Syrian claim... They want to say its a missile strike but won't show the proof of it, when proofs are right there in their controlled Airport

I wonder how Israeli Army should have reacted to a direct war with a considerably strong countries like SA or Iran.Syria was never worth hitting.

Yea right, that's why dozens of foreign journalists were invited to Khmeimim air base. Countless news crews from around the world filmed Russian soldiers in Crimea and even during combat operations journalists film Russia soldiers extensively in Latakia and Aleppo.

Countless Ukrainian journalists and civilians has filmed Russian soldiers in Crimea with the intent to antagonize and provoke those soldiers. The soldiers calmly gave interviews or refused to speak, where as Israeli soldier would hit journalists with the butt end of their rifles and start slapping civilians.
