Israel delegation boycotts Nawaz Speech

and india has to reduce the no. of their militants, oh military personnels to ensure the law and order in the region.. ever wondered why killings, protests are always in occupied kashmir, not in Azad kashmir. Because Kashmiri want freedom not oppressor rule of india..........
Do you always have the habit of ranting like an imbecile? We're talking about the period 1947-48 and not 1990 onwards! Why don't some people here try and improve their comprehension of the English language?

.
pakistan can and will defeat israel with or without nuclear weapons. if they had attacked us in anyway then pakistan would have retaliated with full force on both israel and india.

I don't think that any country is interested in a confrontation with Pakistan.

Pakistan is a nuclear-armed state, attacking it won't gurantee the survivability of the agressor.

.
False News.

Guys, I typed Israel boycotts + UN + Nawaz and guess what, the only link that was there was of this forum, no one else;not even local pakistani media.

And here's the preamble of the SC Resolution. What you reproduced is an attempt by you to obfuscate the issue. Here, read this and try and comprehend the simple English within...

Have you withdrawn your forces and nationals from that portion of Kashmir that you illegally still occupy? NO! So where is the question of a plebiscite?

Secondly, the resolution was passed by United Nations Security Council under chapter VI of UN Charter. Resolutions passed under Chapter VI of UN charter are considered non binding and have no mandatory enforceability as opposed to the resolutions passed under Chapter VII.

Now why did Pakistan's representatives agree to sign the Resolutions under chapter VI which are non binding and have no mandatory enforceability instead of Chapter 7 which would have been binding on both parties? You'll blame India for that too?

EPIC FAIL on Pakistan's part!!

In that under discussion resolution, Pakistan undertook two tasked

PakistanUndertaking.jpg

For the first task, Pakistan had withdrawn all "tribesmen" from Kashmir+ no Pakistani National is residing there permanently as agreed in UN, secondly there is nothing mention about Pakistani troops exclusively.

One thing to be noted here, that this resolution does mentions about the undertaking of Indian Government regarding withdrawal of Indian troops.

IndianObligations.jpg

As far as your debate about the chapter VI & VII of United Nation charter is concern, I would suggest you to kindly read at least title of those chapters

Which are :
CHAPTER VI: PACIFIC SETTLEMENT OF DISPUTES
Charter of the United Nations: Chapter VI: Pacific Settlement of Disputes

CHAPTER VII: ACTION WITH RESPECT TO THREATS TO THE PEACE, BREACHES OF THE PEACE, AND ACTS OF AGGRESSION

Charter of the United Nations: Chapter VII: Action with Respect to Threats to the Peace, Breaches of the Peace and Acts of Agression

as you know that it was Indian government who went to United Nation and notify the UN regarding the issue under chapter VI of UN charter, by this act Indian Government deny to term tribal interventions as an act of aggression, it indicates the original stance of Indian government at United Nation that Kashmir uprising and the tribal intervention was a disputed matter and not an aggression which Indian government propagates now.

Hope I may have cleared some of your reservations about Kashmir.

.
Pakistanis would still survive :what:? Their aim was to destroy Pakistan's nuclear infrastructure, not to use atomic weapons against the latter.

Even after the nuclear strikes if Tel Aviv chose to pursue that path , after destroying the nuclear infrastructure . Islamabad planned to send its fighters on a one way trip to Damona and other key cities to make sure that they were erased from the face of the earth . Never make a country desperate is what Knesset learned , because desperation makes people/country do strange or desperate things .

I wouldn't mess with Pakistan either. :sniper:

A confrontation with Pakistan or KSA will create endless bloodbaths.
You are free to actually , religion binds Pakistanis to your country and dont we all know what religion is of the masses ? :D

Pakistanis and others bind to their holy land, I don't think Saudia owns the Holy Land with all seriousness.

Maybe @Aeornaut wants to create another Soviet-led invasion-like in this case  :D  :omghaha:

. .
Huh? Has this Pakistani PM even read the relevant UN Resolutions? The United Nations Security Council Resolution 47, was adopted on April 21, 1948, after hearing arguments from both India and Pakistan.

The resolution recommended that in order to ensure the impartiality of the plebiscite, Pakistan will withdraw all tribesmen and nationals who entered the region for the purpose of fighting and that India leave only the minimum number of troops needed to keep civil order.

But Pakistan has yet to withdraw its forces from that portion of Kashmir that it now still occupies, as required by the Resolution (Signed by both India and Pakistan), till this day!

Nuff said!

Here is the text of the Resolution. This is available from UN archives.

U.N.Resolution August 13, 1948.

The United Nations Commission for India and Pakistan.
Having given careful consideration to the points of view expressed by the representatives of India and Pakistan regarding the situation in the State of Jammu and Kashmir; and
Being of the opinion that the prompt cessation of hostilities and the correction of conditions the continuance of which is likely to endanger international peace and security are essential to implementation of its endeavors to assist the Governments of India and Pakistan in effecting a final settlement of the situation;

Resolves to submit simultaneously to the Governments of India and Pakistan the following proposal:

PART I: CEASE-FIRE ORDER

A. The Governments of India and Pakistan agree that their respective High Commands will issue separately and simultaneously a cease-fire order to apply to all forces under their control and in the State of Jammu and Kashmir as of the earliest practicable date or dates to be mutually agreed upon within four days after these proposals have been accepted by both Governments.

B.The High Commands of the Indian and Pakistani forces agree to refrain from taking any measures that might augment the military potential of the forces under their control in the State of Jammu and Kashmir. ( For the purpose of these proposals forces under their control shall be considered to include all forces, organized and unorganized, fighting or participating in hostilities on their respective sides.

C.The Commanders-in-Chief of the forces of India and Pakistan shall promptly confer regarding any necessary local changes in present dispositions which may facilitate the cease-fire.

D. In its discretion and as the Commission may find practicable, the Commission will appoint military observers who, under the authority of the Commission and with the co-operation of both Commands, will supervise the observance of the cease-fire order.

E. The Government of India and the Government of Pakistan agree to appeal to their respective peoples to assist in creating and maintaining an atmosphere favourable to the promotion of further negotiations.

PART II: TRUCE AGREEMENT

Simultaneously with the acceptance of the proposal for the immediate cessation of hostilities as outlined in Part I, both the Governments accept the following principles as a basis for the formulation of a truce agreement, the details of which shall be worked out in discussion between their representatives and the Commission.

A.

1. As the presence of troops of Pakistan in the territory of the State of Jammu and Kashmir constitutes a material change in the situation since it was represented by the Government of Pakistan before the Security Council, the Government of Pakistan agrees to withdraw its troops from that State.

2. The Government of Pakistan will use its best endeavour to secure the withdrawal from the State of Jammu and Kashmir of tribesmen and Pakistani nationals not normally resident therein who have entered the State for the purpose of fighting.

3. Pending a final solution, the territory evacuated by the Pakistani troops will be administered by the local authorities under the surveillance of the commission.

B.

1.When the commission shall have notified the Government of India that the tribesmen and Pakistani nationals referred to in Part II, A, 2, hereof have withdrawn, thereby terminating the situation which was represented by the Government of India to the Security Council as having occasioned the presence of Indian forces in the State of Jammu and Kashmir, and further, that the Pakistani forces are being withdrawn from the State of Jammu and Kashmir, the Government of India agrees to begin to withdraw the bulk of its forces from that State in stages to be agreed upon with the Commission.

2. Pending the acceptance of the conditions for a final settlement of the situation in the State of Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Government will maintain within the lines existing at the moment of the cease-fire the minimum strength of its forces which in agreement with the commission are considered necessary to assist local authorities in the observance of law and order. The Commission will have observers stationed where it deems necessary.

3. The Government of India will undertake to ensure that the Government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir will take all measures within its powers to make it publicly known that peace, law and order will be safeguarded and that all human political rights will be granted.

4. Upon signature, the full text of the truce agreement or a communique containing the principles thereof as agreed upon between the two Governments and the Commission, will be made public.

PART III
T
he Government of India and the Government of Pakistan reaffirm their wish that the future status of the State of Jammu and Kashmir shall be determined in accordance with the will of the people and to that end, upon acceptance of the truce agreement, both Governments agree to enter into consultations with the Commission to determine fair and equitable conditions whereby such free expression will be assured.

You are correct in so far as wording of the Resolution is concerned. Ceasefire was observed; Liaqat Ali & Nehru met several times to enforce all the clauses of the resolution. Sticking point was the guarantee that India will not occupy the Azad Kashmir region once Pakistani forces withdraw and how impartiality of the plebiscite can be ensured if Indian forces are present in force in the valley.

Common Wealth Ministers tried to resolve the issue by suggesting that an international force occupy Kashmir until plebiscite has taken place. However with truce in effect and major part of the Jammu & Kashmir State under his belt, Pundit Nehru was not prepared to accept any mediation. This reinforced the suspicion in Pakistan that Indian forces will occupy Azad Kashmir as soon as Pak Army vacates it and all the Kashmir will be lost.

Here's the portion I've extracted from your post and high lighted, which is the crux of the problem.....

B.

So where's the doubt. Pakistani Forces and tribals had to vacate that portion of Kashmir occupied by them, before a plebiscite is held. This has not been done till date and therefore a plebiscite cannot be held! Period!

But you guys keep bellyaching in the UN, as Sharif just did, that India isn't agreeing to a plebiscite!
