Israeli actions in terms of current expansion I understand to some extent can be called colonialism. How can you say that anyone who opposes colonialism should oppose Israel. Israel is a self-governing state, no longer a colonial construct. It has a right to exist there just as much as Pakistan has a right to exist where it is.

Australia, US and Canada do not exclude the original inhabitants from the country -- quite the opposite. The pre-colonial natives are offered massive concessions.

Israel, on the other hand, refuses to let the Palestinians return to their land. Israel doesn't even acknowledge the fact of its colonialism.

The FACT is that Jewish land purchases amounted to a tiny fraction of what constitutes Israel.
The FACT is that Jewish population of Palestine in 1917 -- even after decades of British-sponsored migration -- was around 8-15% (depending on whom you believe). At that point Britain declared turning Palestine into a Jewish state as its official policy.

The comparison with Pakistan is again flawed. The migrations in the subcontinent were the result of local tensions, they were NOT mandated or sanctioned as official policy of the colonial British rulers with the explicit goal of demographic engineering.

Do you really think this is possible now after almost 70 years since Israel was created? the Jewish state which is one of the most militarized states in the middle east armed with a large number of nuclear weapons. They wont just voluntarily leave for europe or allow millions of Arabs to settle in Israel making the Jews a minority.

It's like saying India and Pakistan should allow the millions of people and their descendents from 1947 to come back and resettle in their homes along with their property ownership after nearly 7 decades.
