Turkey is muslim majority and it's doing just fine, progressing well. And being in Singapore, your neighbouring country Malaysia is a muslim country too, and doing fine. How can you explain this cases?

They are Muslim majority. What I am saying is when an intolerant group not necessarily Muslim or any other become larger they create tensions and ultimately life is hell. This could also include communists. In ndia hey have screwed bengal and Kerala. There is an emergence of Hindu Roth wing of late (last 20 yrs) they also cause some tensions.

By the way, the laws in Malaysia towered non muslms is quite bad. Their discriminatory policies are quite transparent and easily searchable on web.
Malaysia based militants cause problems in southern thailand disturbing the peace there.

Also out of 47 Islamic majority countries, if one can show only 2 examples of Turkey & Malaysia as examples of Islamic progress speaks volumes in itself.

It will take a lot of time for muslim numbers to catch up Chrtistian numbers as the christians are still hundreds of millions more .


Another important country where islam is slowly losing relevance is Iran and it is gradually reducing in the very important continent of Africa where people are converting rapidly to christianty , especially in the sub-saharan region .

Even if and when muslims numbers do grow more than christians , what difference will it make in this world in which all muslim countries are powerless and weak as compared to non-muslim majority countries like US , China, India , Russia , Brazil , UK, France ,Germany and Japan ? muslim world will continue to be powerless and divided as it is .

The best thing for muslims especially in my neighbourhood would be to educate its people and improve its economy so that these new incoming muslims can have any impact in the world rather than concentrating on taking over the world .

P.S- when i say impact , i don't mean the kind of impact a suicide bomb creates , i mean the positive kind.

In Hinduism also the concept of Maya is the same illusion your are talking about. In Hinduism the thing we call Bhagwan is what u call Allah. Or what christs call as god. Since we don't know how earth and life is created we call the unknown as god. For eg the ancients had a god of thunder lightning etc. Similarly we are hoping that the so called god is a good chap. What if the creator is a villain. Can you confirm. These are the concepts that the atheists are trying to grapple with

About Malaysia's discriminatory policy, I don't want to comment. I personally don't agree with it myself, it's a dumb old policy that has yet to be changed.

Militants in Malaysia? My friend, there are no militants here, I think what you meant is the "Thai-Malay" militants in South Thailand. They're based there and have nothing to do with the people here.

The Turkey army is doing a good job keeping the country in line with visions of Kemal Ataturk. I respect them for that.

Latest stats shows that Muslim population in Malaysia is now 70%, and with the ever decreasing Chinese population, that number will increase soon.

Anyway, if Islam is practiced in moderation and individually, it won't have an effect on the growth of the nation, it's only when over-religious nutjobs try to force their way of life on everyone, is when shyte hits the fan. I think we can all agree on that

Research a little on how many people in Iran actually like and follow islam .Their actions are due to their ultra-religious regime which most of their own people don't like and have been preotesting against.

About sub-saharan africa i had given a link earlier about 16000 muslims leaving islam every day there and there are reports on the internet that there are 6 million who have left islam in the last few years .

About radicalism in nigeria , well that is there even in Britain where muslims are just 5 % or so . Nigeria may not be losing many muslims itself but sub-saharn africa overall is. Research a little on the net . Africa is the continent where christianity is growing most rapidly .

look i don;t have a problem with muslim numbers growing but watching Pakistani muslims celebrate people leaving other religions and wishing for like a world take over of sorts makes me want to rejoice muslims leaving islam . Its just instinctive .No wonder many Pakistanis have a tendency to make people view muslims negatively .
