PAF plans at least 150 JF-17 and may eventually acquire 250 depending on the resources available..
It won't go below 150 as AFDP 2025 requires all obsolete jets to be replaced on one-on-one basis ..
Any idea what's the progress on the J-10B deal...
& Aren't we going for more F-16's ??

J-10B is not equal to FC-20(that one PAF ordered)
and the deal was signed in 2009 and deliveries were to start from 2015-16 so we have to wait till atleast 2015 for further news on J-10B upgrades and atleast news on deal maybe J-10C can come up in 2014
main issue with J-10 is engine and PAF can't afford it as it has to slect 1 jet for high tech mission as it washed mentioned that F-16 C/D was bonus soo I don't think PAF is going for F-16 but if US is willing to provide us its latest version with AESA with less strings attached
but as of now PAF full concentration is making JFT a reliable and matured platform
