What's new

Is Zardari bringing an end to Pakistan's existance?

if ordinary citizens do it, what zardari and his son is doing, its fine with me..its their personel life, they will give their anwers to ALLAH directly, so none of my concern

but if our leaders do it, then that is a big problem, as everyone has huge expectations from our leaders especially in these difficult times.

and when leaders do these type of ( bay hudda ) things then it reflects the entire pakistani population. and it leads to a bad image of the country.

currently the leaders dont represent the entire Pakistai population.

There are still very good people in Pakistan.

Bottoms Up!!!

"Sharabi Zardari"

Guess it runs in the family...

THIS is going to represent another era of PPP and it's disastrous antics filled with corruption at every step. I believe people need to see his real face NOW before he steps into his father's shoes.

.
I respect your opinions Sir, but please understand his son wants to become OUR LEADER he wants to become the Leader of a Nuclear Power, a Nation of 167 Million people, this is unacceptable behavior by any future leader i.e. Asif Zardari's drunk son...We Pakistanis abhor this behavior and we should not put up with this monkey business!

I quite frankly don't care about the Bhutto family if they want to drink, but the fact that THEY want to become LEADER of my COUNTRY is a problem for me!!! SO don't expect me to give them some sort of WAIVER...
Well, if you don't want him as a leader then you can vote for other parties. It's simple Democracy..

Pakistan's existance does not depend on Mr. Zardari. He will be taken care off as soon as he becomes a threat.

.
:crazy:Dear ejaz007 Zardari is already a threat to Pakistan now one of his official title is "Friend of India", every move he makes, everything that he says is clearly a risk to National Security. This retard is not less than donald rumsfield.

Next elections you will see PPP will go nowhere but back to the drawing board. We need a progressive conservative military leaning party in power that can be eloquent with the west yet garner support of the common Pakistani as well and put an end to predator strikes and Indian violations.

Gha**** has no shame for being spotted on public TV drinking while as a servant and leader of Pakistan. Shame on him and his stolen F-16 money. This guy needs a few shoes thrown at his face as well.

And I'd be damned if that Harry Potter son of his ran my country. I hope our stupid populace can accept the fact that Bhutto is gone, and these guys are nothing like Benazir otherwise democracy (mob rule, but how can the mob rule if many are illiterate) is going to sink Pakistan. And let me tell you guys something from a firsthand viewpoint, Benazir was nothing special herself either.

Asif Ali Zardari Profile - Profile of Pakistan's Asif Ali Zardari, Widow of Benazir Bhutto

Zardari Charged With Attempted Murder and Extortion:
It wasn’t long before Zardari faced his first arrest—an attempted-murder and extortion charge in 1990 stemming from an alleged plot that April. Zadari and accomplice Ghulam Hussain Unar. Unar and Zardari allegedly strapped a remote-controlled bomb to the leg of Pakistani-born British businessman Murtaza Hussain Bukhari, who was discussing plans to build a hospital in Pakistan, and forced him to cash $800,000 in checks.

Zardari was imprisoned. He contested the charges, calling them politically motivated. Bhutto was prime minister at the time but was ousted in October 1990.
From Prison to Finance Minister to Second Murder Charge:
A special court acquitted Zardari of bank fraud and conspiracy to murder charges. He was released in February 1993. When Zardari’s wife became prime minister again months later, she named him finance minister—a post that did not exist. The couple built a $50 million “prime minister’s residence" on 110 acres on an Islamabad hilltop.

Zardari also acquired the 365-acre, $8 million Rockwood Estate in Surrey, England, and a $4 million estate in Palm Beach County, Florida. Cases of Zardari and Bhutto corruption piled up fast during her second tenure as prime minister.

A Laundry List of Corruption Allegations:

Charges and allegations included:

* Zardari buying almost $1 million worth of jewelry through a Swiss bank account and an American Express card.
* Zardari taking kickbacks from a Dubai gold trader.
* French military contractor Dassault Aviation agreeing to pay Zardari $200 million in exchange for a $4 billion jet fighter deal with Pakistan. (The deal fell apart when Bhutto was booted out of government.)
* In 1996, Zardari was arrested again and charged with murdering his wife’s brother.

Zardari was imprisoned. Pakistan’s president dismissed Bhutto for corruption. Zardari was in prison until 2004.

The government claimed Bhutto and Zardari siphoned $1.5 billion in public money during Bhutto’s second term. None of the charges stuck, though Pakistan is still, according to The New Yorker's Steve Coll, looking into more than $54 million allegedly stashed in Swiss bank accounts by the Bhutto family. Investigators, Coll writes, are also "looking into companies involved in Iraq's oil-for-food program, under Saddam Hussein, from which Bhutto allegedly benefited."

From Manhattan’s Upper East Side Back to Politics Again:
Zardari won his release from prison after his wife’s Pakistan Peoples Party negotiated a deal with Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf. Zardari moved to Manhattan’s wealthy Upper East Side, where he lived for three years.

Following his wife’s assassination, Zardari claimed her will named him as her successor to the leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party. Zardari asked his son, Bilawal, to be the party chairman, though Zardari clearly intended to wield the power. On Aug. 22, the PPP nominated him for the Pakistani presidency vacated by Musharraf earlier that week. The election was set for Sept. 6.

Something that still frustrates me at times is...how on earth did he become President?
Why..did the people of Pakistan vote for him?
Was it because of Bhutto's death and their sympathy for him and his family?
This still angers me, we need leadership that is taken serious by the rest of the world.

He was made president because Musharraf was not listening to all the orders of USA. ( he was not great himself but atleast he had some dignity and honour,he did not completly sell our country ), so USA wanted a goverment that was more corrupt, more full of thugs, more greedy then anyone before. The choice was simple, Zardari fulfilled all the characterstics that the USA were looking for. So The idea of making Zardari the president was directly imposed by Washington.

and so all the dramas began.
1.killing of benazir
2.Media playing a extremly extremly large role in making the peoples choice for voting PPP
3. Because of media people felt sympathy towards PPP
4. and without thinking even slightly about the future , began voting like morons for PPP

so we became victom of mind control thanks to the media that changed our mind sets and we made the horrible decision to vote for PPP

.
Re-election should be done right away

We made that SOB the president and we can remove him from his status of president

if we suceed that will be a big blow to USA/ISRAEL/INDIA/CIA/RAW/MOSSAD

.
Zardari is a clown, the only jobs suitable for him would be

1) Stand up comedian :taz:
2) waiter :mod:
3) Actor in Colgate Adds :woot:
4) Clown in childrens birthday party :bounce:

.
