Hey guys after going through numerous articles about Sino-Indian relations from both side's views and their perceptions i came up with the following treaties(its only a concept) which both india and china should sign to build a strong bond like of EU and US:

1. Dispute settlement treaty

1. India agrees to acknowledge aksai chin as integral part of tibet(china) while china gives up claims over arunachal pradesh and recognises it as well as J&K a part of India.
2. China creates a special zone under chinese central govt in tibet bordering india and allows the tibetan refugees to return and settle there with their own provincial govt. like hongkong and macau. In return India removes restrictions of movement of chinese visitors in indian states.
3. China stops supporting insurgents in N-E and India stops supporting tibetan freedom fighters.
4. Both countries acknowledge that 1962 episode was a mistake and apologize to each other.

2. Strategic World Order initiative:

1. Both decide to jointly fight terrorism and extremism with iron fist irrespective of their place of origin.
2. Both decide that Asia is their area responsibility and take strategic initiatives to nullify the effect of the west in Asia.
3. Both secretly agree to support regimes in gulf and africa openly and secretly(covert support) that are more friendly to Asian nations rather than US and EU due to oil and stategic location.
4. Africa should posses military bases of both counties jointly as a strategic step towards future.
5. Co-operation in military technologies and space technologies.
6. Both agree to not to allow their land for activities against each other.
7. Joint space network(civil & military) and possibly a space station developed, launched and operated jointly.

So guys what do you all think about this concept.......i think its difficult but not impossible as world scenario changes......i would hate to see india in the future having a relation like of UK( a pet) with the US. Criticism is graciously welcomed:bounce:

.
Well i doubt so much can be done but ap and aksi chin can be done not sure though

.
And i do agree with the affrica part too we need to save them from the dirty hands os us and eu oil hungry people

That's not going to happen, China has reinforced it's claim on southern Tibet or Arunachal Pradesh. As for J&K being a part of Hind, China also reinforced China's border with Kashmir is not a border with Hind. Not to mention China isn't going to make treaties with Hind at the expense of Pakistan's interest. China maintains sensitivity to Pakistani interest, in doing so solidifies a strategic partnership that has been growing for decades...

This is naive, China's not going to apologize for 1962. China views 1962 as defending their territory and border, why would China apologize for that?

It would be best to leave out 1962 from this supposed "treaty"...Don't bring up 1962 bring up 2011+.

Brother this world is like a chess board and the main aim is to defend your king even if it takes to sacrifice the queen.....the world is a chess game that will continue forever

Exactly right.

Firstly, China and Pakistan have been friends for a long time, even during the time when China was isolated from the world.

Secondly, Pakistan's geostrategic importance is unparalleled in the region. They are the key pivot point between Central Asia, the Middle East, South Asia, and even East Asia.

Pakistan can give us access to Gwadar port, Karakorum highway, Middle East pipelines, etc.

Indians can dream, but the China-Pakistan alliance is here to stay.

Easy. With the USA, we have the world's biggest bilateral economic relationship, sometimes referred to as the "G2".

Whereas with Russia, we have a strategic/military partnership, and we are also both founding members of the SCO.

And yes I am Chinese, you can ask any Chinese member in this forum and even the moderators.

So china plays the game differently with different teams....cool.

ok you don't agree on the border treaty thats fine but what about the strategic treaty?? you agree???:what:

.
Solving the boarder issue calls for great courage wisdom and long time of hard work of the political leaders of the both sides, however I don't see the former in the Indian leaders and the latter in Chinese counterparts.

China and India are strategic rivals. As everyone already knows.

India has been hosting our largest separatist group (Tibetan government "in exile") for over half a century... India also claims Chinese land (Aksai Chin), etc.

And as for your "Strategic initiative", we already have that with the SCO.

I suppose you could try joining the SCO if you want.
