and bollywood now is being partially decimated by rubbish action films with stories and stunts directly copied from the regional telugu and tamil cinema.
maybe the heavy bollywood influence in "jawaani phir na aani" was not so much the financier's pressure as much as the makers' desire to bring some spice to pakistan cinema, to open it up.
well, finance is not everything... in my previous post i spoke of "the last days on mars" for a reason... it was made on a relatively low 7 million pounds budget and still managed to deliver a enjoyable ( and scary ) film, with fine natural acting, superb set design, realistic outdoor vehicles and suits and great cinematography of the landscape and interiors.

film technicians and actors from all of the subcontinent should together make a film like that - a desi mission to mars.
