No, I am not from Potohar region but have been to Islamabad/Pindi/muree - nice people and beautiful places. I just randomly picked this ID, it could be anything else but have immense respect for him as he fought well against the aggressors.

Say again, your rambling is incomprehensible.

And I thought ramblings was your mother tongue!! Apparently, it was all you had done up there.

Why it doesn't occur to fools that Kargil plan was bound to fail. It was clear right from the beginning that sooner or later Indians would eventually detect the presence of intruders on the peaks and then cutting off their supply line would be their first aim, after that all they had to do was to attack on the peaks with full might to dislodge the intruders, and without any reinforcement the soldiers/jihaids didn't stand a chance of repulsing their attacks. It doesn't matter at all how many soldiers Indians needed to accomplish their task, these kind of useless statistics can only help alleviate the bruised ego of the loser otherwise they mean shit. I have never been in favour of any kind of negotiations with Talebans, get your fact straight.

So the Chief of the Armed forces was a fool and you and your kind are smarter?? LOL!!!!

Kid, Kargil was a brilliance, a once in a lifetime opportunity that was lost because of fools like you and your kind! Kargil was the jugular of India and the idea was never to keep it a secret indefinitely. I mean you are so darned low on IQ, it does not even occur to you, that it was meant to force India to back down from Siachin and possibly to force India to the negotiation table in regards to Kashmir. What kind of traitor would want to find a permanent solution to Siachin & Kashmir????

What amazes me further is your negligence to the fact that the fighters, who had volunteered for the mission, were meant to survive on low rations and that their supply lines could just never be cut off completely unless India crossed the LoC. There are so many things that you fail to understand that there is no point in me wasting my time on your education.

I supported IK but I disagree with his soft policy on TTP. Imran Khan is between the rock and the hard place. He has majority support in KPK because of his Pro-TTP stance. If he takes an Anti-TTP position it will weaken his Party in KPK. But the same Pro-TTP position will weaken IK in Punjab and Sindh.

.
Why do people keep on assuming that majority of Pukhtoons are pro-TTP and IK is adored in K.Pakhtonkhwa coz of that.
Let me clarify, majority of Pakhtoons are against TTP and their anti-state activities, actually Pukhtoons have suffered the most at the hands of these anti-state actors.
What they hate more than TTP is military operations in their areas. I don't know how many members have actually been to areas that have come under these operations but believe me it's not pretty. When the army start an operation they go in with heavy artillery, fighter bombers and gunships. They will kill some TTP members, but will also destory a lot of infrastructure make refugees out of the local population, and destroy livelihoods. One can talk about the camps for IDPs but it is humiliation that no one want to suffer.
So the bottom line is not many people in K.Pakhtonkhwa support TTP or want them to be present in their areas but they don't want their homes to be destroyed either, or for them to become refugees in their own country.

Au contraire, I would have easily understood what you rambled about if it was my mother tongue, but you are not the smartest bloke around anyway.

Now your are forcing me to stoop down to the level of a lalookheti goon, but I will remain composed and polite just to make you feel out of place. I will try to ignore the insults and stick to the topic at hand.

Kargil was not a new idea Zia was also given a specific briefing on such a plan which he had turned down immediately, he was definitely more realist than Musharraf. You must have read the following conversation took place between him and the then DGMO.

Zia:When we take Kargil, what do you expect the Indians to do? . . . I mean, don’t you think they will try and recapture it?

DGMO: Yes sir, but we think that the position is impregnable and we can hold it against far superior forces.
Zia: Now that’s very good, but in that case, don’t you think the Indians will go for a limited offensive elsewhere along the line of control, take some of our territory, and use it as a bargaining chip?

DGMO: Yes sir, this is possible, but . . .
Zia: And if they are beaten back there also, don’t you think they will attack across the international frontier, which may lead to a full-scale war?
DGMO:That’s possible, sir.
Zia: So in other words, you have prepared a plan to lead us into a full-scale war with India!

After the debacle of 1965 war it had become clear to the Pakistani establishment that India would never hesitate to attack on the international borders if it feels to be on a disadvantageous position along the LoC in Kashmir. Judging by the fact that compare to Pakistan India is a military and economic giant and enjoys solid support of international community due to various reasons, it will be Pakistan that will come out as a loser in the wake of any all-out-war against India. Where did I say that it was meant to be kept secret indefinitely? Even assuming such a thing speaks volume about your mental level. India eventually cut off all the supply lines and its air force even crossed the LoC which shows their determination and seriousness. Musharraf should be thankful that his little adventure didn't escalate into an all-out-war, otherwise the outcome of that war would be quite detrimental for Pakistan.

I don't know why but somehow I like you my friend. Your incoherent posts always bring a smile on my face, you come over as a patriotic Pakistani who has developed a deep contempt for the political elite of this country and there are many reasons to justify your hate.

Having said that, you are right I am not a military expert by any definition, but being a civilian I have no other choice but to see and judge things form a civilian's point of view.

War is a very civilian matter, but I won't blame you if you're unable to understand it. As they say war is politics by other means. You guys read Clausewitz, don't you?

I am neither a fan of IM nor a supporter of PTI, and never have been.

. .
His agenda is to collect ethnic, linguistic and location data about as many Pakistani members as he can on this forum.

Wrrora naraaaz ho ? :(

Did I say something wrong ?

Damn!! And the world was so convinced that it was your mother tongue, the way you engage so articulately in the language, making it impossible for others to understand. Are you sure it's not??

Try as you may, you are nothing like a Lalookheti, you are, maybe, more like a cheap, high on narcotics, Liyariite.....and that too on your better days.

Zia: So in other words, you have prepared a plan to lead us into a full-scale war with India!

This is precisely the reason that make you appear not too bright. Comparing Zia's non-nuclear, middle of Afghan war tenure to the nuclear Pakistan of 1999! Your IQ & your level of comprehension is evident from the fact that you are defending yourself with Zia's assessment of Indian response which proved to be incorrect in the Nuclear era. Neither India crossed the LOC, nor did they cross the border despite being unable to dislodge the fighters from key positions.....heck, even today we hold Point 5353 along with a couple of other positions in Kargil!!

After the debacle of 1965 war it had become clear to the Pakistani establishment that India would never hesitate to attack on the international borders if it feels to be on a disadvantageous position along the LoC in Kashmir. Musharraf should be thankful that his little adventure didn't escalate into an all-out-war, otherwise the outcome of that war would be quite detrimental for Pakistan.

That's why Pakistan went Nuclear and that is why "No first use" policy is never a part of Pakistani doctrine. This doctrine is a deterrence. There is a threshold that India would never cross and if it does then it will face the consequences. And the only way India could cut off the supply lines would be to cross the LoC, they never dared to cross the LoC and hence the supply lines could never be cut off.Their Jets crossed the LoC a couple of times and were escorted out immediately. They never tried to engage the PAF either.

India could not cross the LoC, neither could they cross the IB. Not just that, it was India that created a Nuclear hysteria and established massive diplomatic pressure on Pakistan. But Militarily, India could not achieve its purpose and had we all been on the same page, Siachin would have been solved and most probably, so would have been Kashmir.

Your assumption that people of kpk voted for pti because they are pro-taliban.....is completely wrong. People of KPK were just tired of ANP due to its poor performance and corruption. And desiring peace doesnt make us taliban or pro-taliban. If we were that much pro-taliban then we would have voted exclusively for JUI-F and JI.
