In the backdrop of Azadi March/Dharna that is taking place in the national capital at the moment, do you think Pakistan is heading towards a government comprising the non-corrupt and competent figures belonging to all the parties of Pakistan. I am not talking about a "national government" comprising non-political "technocrats" which has always been a failed experience throughout the national history of Pakistan.

Either that, or open Martial Law. Or the present setup completes its term. Who knows?

The present government will continue. I don't expect martial law. What could Gen. Bajwa offer? The military and government are 'on same page' and will face Mullah Diesel. If they fail expect Pakistan to descend into chaos. But I think with government and army up against the wall and led by PMIK they will stand their ground.

The correct thing to do is for the present setup to complete its term, without too many distractions like the present unfortunate episode, with all the attendant economic costs.

Not a chance. 5 years of dharnas and tamasha didn't unseat Nawaz Sharif, a court case did. Without Panama leaks he'd probably still be there.

I'd be surprised if these people are still there next weekend.

No question of martial law. Some give and take and everything will fall into place.

Nonsense like a new 'Unity Government', Martial law and so on would clearly point to one and one thing only -- the corruption of the Military. If the Military wants to do this, it will clearly loose its prestige among the ordinary people of Pakistan. And it will be very dangerous for the military in the long run because a fallen house starts from one crack which widens and eventually the whole house collapses.

Common average people in Pakistan don't give a f*** about BS like "prestige" including military, these things have no meaning in case of majority of Pakistanis except maybe some mummy daddy types under influence of UK-USA cultural influence.

Maulana doing extremely well " foolish job " to make PTI immortal.

Imam Ali said, a man with greed or anger always make wrong decision.

Government previously massacred TLP activists and have invested a great deal in painting these Pakistanis as Indians or Afghans or traitors as they desensitized them as canon fodder for glorification of one man as "true leader".

Fascism at its best
