Da Afghanistan Islami Emirat

د افغانستان اسلامی امارات

This is the first Libyan flag. It symbolizes the 3 sanjaks of Beylerbeylik(3 crescent) under rule of caliphate(green ground). which are Trablus, Fizan and Bingazi(Kufra).
1280px-Flag_of_Tripoli_18th_century.svg.png

Its borders (unified Libya) were as follows, for the first time(red):
1280px-Tripolitania_Vilayet%2C_Ottoman_Empire_%281900%29.svg.png

After Italy invaded Libya in 1912, it did not change the former administrative system's borders. So these borders have survived to the present day. But if you look deeply into the history of Libya, you can see the effect of tribal structures and multiculturalism in Libya.

. .
Do mean its a unofficial flag of Afghanistan???

Just waiting for fall of Kabul... :pop:

1830 Beylik of Tunis under Ottoman rule used this flag which became the eventual flag of Tunisia.

Algerian flag is based on its liberation movements against French rule and Barbary pirates who served under Ottomans.

So a squinting smiley face is the solution to centuries of tribalism?

As you can see above, a few things have been shared about the Libyan flag. I just gave a small anecdote about how Libya occurred as its current borders, and why they carrying crescent on current Libyan flag... I don't suggest anything.

However, if you want to bring the subject to the point I guessed, I can say that:

If Libya breaks into pieces, Yemen inevitably breaks down. Even Iraq and Syria will break up in mid or long term. This domino effect will reach Afghanistan. Each failed / shattered country will become mined areas among those trying to survive. If anyone can afford this doomed MENA, may wish Libya to break up.

I have noticed that anything with a black , band in Muslim country's flag were assisted from outside or had great influence from outside for their internal politics

Red-Black-Green = Symbol of External Inteference

Dont mind.

Tired of being stuck in the shitty neighbour we live in and its conflicts. Need to broaden our horizon.
I hope it is true. Libyan have a very positive relationship with Pakistan during Qaddafi era. We should keep our ties with Libyan government. They are our brothers.

Pakistan should be open about support for Turk and Libyan brothers.
Emiratis are being lit cunts, send unmarked JF-17s, to smoke Emiratis *** out of Libya.

That is because those colors come from Arab revolt flag against Ottomans.

However Libyan flag also is similar to Pan-African flag.

For Afghanistan it is from monarchy of Barakzai which ruled Afghanistan. Maybe @H. Dawary @Agha Sher know better.

The black in the Libyan flag represents the Sayyid Senussi Sufi rule of King Idris. This is the Senussi flag. They ruled Libya before Qaddafi.

Only Pakistan, Burma and Nigeria use JF17. It'll be easy for them to identify whose JF17s are flying in the region. Hence easier for them if they want have reprisals.

Towards the middle and end Gaddafi was only limited Tripoli and major cities.
