There clearly are issues that needed addressing. The opposition won't go anywhere near them for votebank reasons, BJP is playing this well.. Congress' soft underbelly exposed, and actually doing some good and helping people at the same time but sadly, post #3 makes a good point too. All laws get abused in India.

At least we have laws that can be put to good use. Most of the world is either not democratic or worse off than India with their legal systems.
