It is really nice to see that Bangladesh is going to launch a cricket league like "Bangladesh Premier League" where many top ranked cricketer from all around the world will play for Bangladesh. But I am really shocked and sad to see the promo of "Bangladesh premier league" which start with the greetings like "NOMOSHKAR" and promoted Bollywood actor, actress and singer through out the promo instead of Bangladeshi one.

Just wondering whether it is Bnagladesh Premier League or Indian Premier League in disguise...:S

And how you are gonna internationalize with Bangladeshi actors... How many of them can match the international charisma in comparison to Indian performers.

Love us hate us but u just cannot ignore us :D

Bangladeshis can try as much as they want, but they will never be accepted as a state of India. Sorry folks.

Ot: what's wrong in nomoshkar? Don't tell me it's against Islamic tenets and the anchor committed shrik! :/

In India we generally use three words Namashakar, Aadab and Sat Sri Akaal together. You guys too have used Assalam Alaikum and Namashkar together. It was damn simple to do it.

Its an Indian way of addressing people...Hindu way includes "Jai Ramji Ke"," Jai SriKrishna", "Jai Sriram" etc.

So Why they tried to use a Indian way of addressing in a Bangladeshi Function ? . it very painful that in many program some group of people are repeatedly using Indian or hindu culture in name of secularism or Banglai nationalism

.
So why speak Bangla language as a spoken tool? You have backstabber Pakistan on language base. Use urdu /Pharas or Urdu instead. But people like you know as hypocrites in India and Pakistan.

What about 'Ciao' which is an Italian way of addressing people? or better what is your feeling about "Good Morning/Afternoon/Night, Bye" etc which is essentially an English way of addressing people..But you seem to have no problem following this. You, like majority of countries, follows 'Christian Era Calendar'..why don't you stick to Islamic calendar for your day to day activities. There are many instances when you follow other country's or religion's customs..but all hell broke loose when someone used a secular 'Nomoshkor'.

. .
SO why should we muslim Bangladeshis use an INDIAN way to greet people. :undecided:

As far as I know BD is a secular country, so one has to use a secular way of greeting like 'Nomoshkar'. What the Bengali equivalent of 'Nomoshkar'?

For your king INFO the word "NOMOSKAR" is not secular but part of the hindu culture. But even if it was a secular word it
violates the basic fundementals of ISLAM by committing unforgivable sin of "Sirk" so muslims can never use such a
word and it also goes against so called secular principals.
