When BNP-Jamat comes back to power we will be gladly kicking these bharati dalals out of the country. We may have to do a
push in into Bharati territory. Will you indians accommodate them as refuges:azn: They are
really loyal to INDIA.

For your king INFO the word "NOMOSKAR" is not secular but part of the hindu culture. But even if it was a secular word it
violates the basic fundementals of ISLAM by committing unforgivable sin of "Sirk" so muslims can never use such a
word and it also goes against so called secular principals.

So is the use of 'Good Morning/Afternoon/Night' which is a part of English culture...so stop using it also. Also stop using Christian Era Calendar, English Language, Western Clothes like Jeans & T Shirts,if you are in school/college or have relatives in school/college make them quit and join a Madrassa instead..there is a lot you can do to uphold Islamic tradition.

If you are uncomfortable with 'Nomoshkar' find a new secular greeting from Bengali language.

Nomoshkar is a Bengali word, hindi cognate of which is namaste. Bangladeshis commit shrik everyday by speaking bengali. You lot gown straight down to hail.

It is really nice to see that Bangladesh is going to launch a cricket league like "Bangladesh Premier League" where many top ranked cricketer from all around the world will play for Bangladesh. But I am really shocked and sad to see the promo of "Bangladesh premier league" which start with the greetings like "NOMOSHKAR" and promoted Bollywood actor, actress and singer through out the promo instead of Bangladeshi one.

Just wondering whether it is Bnagladesh Premier League or Indian Premier League in disguise...:S

Hasina believe in Hindu faith. Soon Bangladeshi will be saying vande mataram and dhooti will be the national dress of Bangladesh. This is what secular Bengali nationalism stand for, my khala jaat bhai. I am excited, very excited.

there are lots of serious issue to discuss. Why we are discussing this shitty advertisement?? My hindu friends use ' Inshallah or Khoda hafiz ' every now and then.... This was not official promo, it was just a sample which was never used in Bangladeshi channels. So what is the problem??

So Why they tried to use a Indian way of addressing in a Bangladeshi Function ? . it very painful that in many program some group of people are repeatedly using Indian or hindu culture in name of secularism or Banglai nationalism

May be they are not so narrow minded like some here.

So why speak Bangla language as a spoken tool? You have backstabber Pakistan on language base. Use urdu /Pharas or Urdu instead. But people like you know as hypocrites in India and Pakistan.

Even urdu was originated in india, so why should be allowed to use in bangladesh ?

learn something from country like Malaysia or you guys gonna end up like Pakistan...

Wait a sec...

Before i plunge in to the 'battlefield', you all should know that 'Games On Management' is handling the organizing of BPL, alongside the BPL-BCB governing council. The Management company is headed by an Indian, Mr. Ganguly if i am not mistaken. And hence i am not surprised in the promo they used the word "Nomoshkar". Though, any general English word would have done the work instead!

When i interact with my hindu and christian friends, they often use the word 'In sha ALLAH' and 'Masha Allah' or 'Assalamua'laikum'...that does not mis-represent their religion. Take it easy all of you, its just a freaking ad.

Cheers!!!

Are you people crazy?
How can be words be secular?..Do you understand meaning of Secularism..It means separation of the state and religion!!

Namaskar is not Hindu word but Hindi word.(I hope your understand the difference)..just like Bismillah ir rahman ir rahim is an Arabic word.

Learn what from Malaysia. They are actually keeping distance from us now a days due to secular minded Awami league. So, actually Malaysia is more Islamic than us.

It's one thing to use in interpersonal relation however totally a different ball game when comes to state affairs. Al already stated the process of Hinduization of Bangladesh with the help of Indians. If we muslims think that all are well then as I said in my previous post that Dhooti will be Bangladesh national dress.

Now, there is another side though, say BNP-Jamat regain power by next election, Bd will go through massive Islamic make over and I won't surprised if we strip off national anthem and rename Bangladesh as "Islamic republic". :) This will br reaction to Awamis aspiration to make Bd a Hindu oriented state.

Indonesians Malaysians are more Islamic than Bangladeshis......... Compare any Bangladeshi girl with Indonesian girl... You will be amazed to see how close to Islam they are! at least my experience says so... They just don't have to face anti Islamic threats like us........
