India vs Brazil?
India is no match of Brazil either, by a long shot. Reasons are simple:
1. Brazil: far bigger land, far more abundent natural resources, far less people
2. Intellectual/economic/political elites of India are mongrel ( a mix of a cocktail of central asians and local Negritos - genetically a close variant of Negro race); while their Brasilian counterparts are pure blood Euros (especially political ruling class) and Northeast Asians (there're large sections of Chinese and Japanese in Brazil, many of them are amongst the elite class). Average Brasilian IQ = high 80s. Average Brasilian elites IQ = or > 100, a shoulder and a head above those of India.
3. point 2 has profound implications on, for example, general education level and the corresponding achievements measured in the recent PISA tests, where Brasilian youngsters scored decently well in line with their IQ counterparts around the world, whereas Indian PISA results(of its top 2 states) are directly comparable to the Sub-Sahara. Even those youngsters from so called "Banana Republics" performed
significantly better than Indians. It's not like they BSed that "ah, it's the poor mass that draged down Indian average score". Detail analysis on top 95 percentile of the scores presented a clear evidence that India actually has NO "intellectual elite class" as compared to other 70 or so countries tested - almost none of Indians tested was inside top 95 percentile! Stunning!
