Even if you take out the civilization state concept out of India and take just the current federal republic even then Britain didn't mark each and every territory in our land, kashmir, Junagadh, Hyderabad, goa, sikkim, Tripura, etc you name it, we built our own country on our idea of what constitutes India and Indian people and worked towards getting them inside Indian union. Yes Europeans played a pretty big part in what is modern India but not on it's entirity. So why should we give all credit to Europeans?

Colonial powers have in one way or another decided the borders of the modern nations. That's why most of them don't make sense. The borders were drawn to cause conflict and implement divide and rule policies.

The Vedas / Puranas etc may have got recorder about 4000 years back but the religion is timeless.

All other new religions like Islam or Chrustianity etc took many of the philosophies and ideas from Hinduism, however political distortions made it mashup.

Since there is free flow of abuse against my religion...most ancient...please do chew that...Islam is a religion of camel riders...looters ...if we look at the origin....and it took the philosophy ( whatever good is there) from existing faith...nothing new there..

You guys have no sense of Hinduism and its philosophy. You see so many social evil and equate it to faith. The laws of India has removed social evil and the practice if any is going to disappear in few decades. You cannot say the same thing for a relgion which cannot be reformed due to one book and followers will rather kill than to reform.
