Is India exploring options with visa to Taliban leader?

One of the videos they showed of Hakimullah after his death in which he was giving an interview had him saying he along with his compatriots would wage a war against India and people think they have nothing against India? Well its a political suicide if the sources are correct.
@Srinivas look this is true. India should not trust these guys.

.
they are terrorists for god sake ! how can we trust them?!

How do u know they don't hold any grudge... when USA will leave these will be one those morons doing jihad in Kashmir

BAD MOVE

What even makes you think that anybody has even started trusting anybody !?!
These talks are in the nature of probing feelers. One has to get as clear and complete picture of the overall scenario before initiating any action.
All part of that. Just to remind you; as things stand, nearly all the Jihad is and will be taking place in Pashtun dominated areas in Afghanistan and Pakistan. It is important to ensure that it remains confined there. Most recent events are connected to that.

^ Still dodgy, but he clearly never declined that he won't wage Jihad on Kashmir. There is one more video where some TTP clearly said he will wage jihad in kashmir.

If USA can engage in dialogs with Taliban, than why not any other regional country or countries ....??

"Regional approach' is the only solution of Afghan issue, after the partial withdrawal of USA from Afghanistan .....

That is precisely what has been going on for over the last 3 years. E.G. there has been an India-China-Russia dialog on this, just as there has been an India-Iran-Russia dialog too. And these are apart from many others. Some of them have not even been talked about so far.

The stake-holders are all regional, this time around. So they will not (for obvious reasons) just let it be be confined to one ot two players who hitherto felt that they had the controlling interests in the matter; like some kind of exclusive thekedaars.

India has long been involved in Afganistan . From the times of Ahmed Shah Masoud , They have provided open assistance to northern alliance against Jihadis (Still remeber those Dushanbe based Indian depots) . Then they managed to peneterate few Pakhtun Jihadi factions and eversince have been manipulating them against Pakistan in India`s interest . Its nothing new , the only difference is that India has decided to make these "connections" public . They want to be a "open" and "accepted" major stakeholder in Afghanistan after the withdrawl of the Americans . First they have successfully convinced their people and the world that the Afghan Jihadis are the greatest threat to them, using dirty propaganda tactics , and now, stepwise , they are letting the cat out of the bag !!

I know its real world, & from where did you get that?

.
Its an initial engagement of govt with Taliban nothing more then that, because last time there was no diplomatic window available when terrorists took hijacked plane to Kandahar, Now its sort of having a communication channel open as situation after withdrawal by US will certainly have many consequences for India too

Every one (Including myself) who lives close to LOC knows that BSF and Rangers are not only involved in Smuggling ,but also Illegal border crossings (smuglers as well as millitants)... Its all about money
