Unilever, Nestle, P@G consumer sales in Pak was in excess of 100 billion Rs, each company selling more than 100 billion Rs. of consumer goods, that is one third of Indian sales, compare this with population of India which is 6.5 times.

Quite a few surveys has put the upper middle class population in Pakistan to be about 7% and in India it is about 3% of the total population...here I am not talking about middle class which is high in both countries.

Check gas connections, natural gas lines in Pakistan is about 10,000 Kms, in India it is about 11,000 Kms...compare this with the size and the population of India and Pakistan.

Btw jacques, 1 PKR is not equal to 1 INR, it's like half the value. Failed in math?. Also those multicraptionals don't sell as much in India because we have Indian brands also. Heard of patanjali, dabur, godrej, Tata? All of them sell more. And there are thousands more for every FMCG.

BTW Pakistan has tested a rocket to in the 60's much before India has started its programme. In 1990 Pakistan has developed Badr-1 satellite all indigenously. In 2000 has developed another satellite Badr-B and has sent it into space through Kazakhistan.

PakSat-1R was developed in 2011, yes it was launched into space in the year 2011 from China, it cost was 230 million USD and with 30 transponders was bigger than any Indian satellite.
