Well I am planning on going to China, Pakistan, India, Philippines and Vietnam just need the cash but hopefully middle on next year.

As you all may know I am planning on travelling maybe next year, and India is always been on my bucket list along with Pakistan and China. But this thread is about India and some of the videos I have seen show India to be a filthy country. Now I want to know if India is actually this filty? Anyone been to India are any Indians who can tell me the truth?

We had good success in fighting polio. the success story is showcased all around the globe.

The govt. appointed health workers used to go door to door giving polio vaccines. I admire those ladies.

yes, still there in Pak. especially in KPK as TTP and even locals nor allow vaccination. mainly they fear of some genetic disorder and that spy network. the dr who 'exposed' OBL location was a polio team worker...

UP and Bihar is dirty. Our cities are also very dirty in places. But there are massive movements, like the Ugly Indian (got on TED as well) and there are many others. The younger generation all over the country are becoming more conscious. That is good. No amount of dustbins will compensate for awareness. Once people know and feel strongly, they will keep wrappers in their pockets instead of throwing them on the streets. The South is cleaned up to a large extent and so is the North East. The Northern plains area is still very very filthy in places.
