Is He An Extremist?

Maybe you are not reading my replies correctly, I never said there is no such as Islamic terrorism, I do apologize is my vocabulary to complicated for you? Well any of my other Indian friends care to translate it to him please?

No action is ever derived without thought.

U are saying exactly that.
The very fact u keep on bringing atheist extremism which dosen't even exist instead of ISIS etc is a testament of ur bias

.
I saw a guy once and he does the following actions:
  • He bears witness that there is no god but allah and that muhammad is his messenger.
  • He prays 5 times a day.
  • He pays his zekat.
  • He performs the hajj.
  • He fasts in ramadan.
The same guy believes in the following:
  • He believes in allah.
  • He believes in the angels.
  • He believes in the books sent down by allah.
  • He believes in allah's prophets.
  • He believes in the last day.
  • He believes in destiny.
Is this guy a religious extremist?

Obvously not, but believing in "destiny" (qadr) is pure fabrication (fabricated by the Umayyad despots), it simply doesn't exist, period. More importantly; Islam is not about performing a few rituals, definitely not. If you truly believe in the Qur'an (and believe me very few people do), first and foremost, you must believe in peace, social - economic justice, humanity, always helping the poor and needy in the world and fight all kinds of evil; such as oppression, violence, racism, environmental destruction etc. anywhere on earth. If you do not believe and DO NOT ACT on these, then all your rituals ARE IN VAIN. Islam is absolutely, and I repeat absolutely not a religion of rituals like sme other religions (although some rituals do exist like fasting, prayer etc. but they are not the essence of Islam by any means).

The problem is, he also rejects the man made laws of the country he lives in, and demands Sharia. If he doesn't get his way, he will wage jihad in the name of Allah.

I also would like to point out that there are two people of Indian Nationality, one says I say that there is no such thing as Islamic Extremists while the other says that I automatically equate Muslims with terrorists, so I implore you PDF dwellers is my vocabulary really that difficult to understand, should I dumb it down a bit to make it more understandable?

Don't push urself too hard man, just stop this philosophy all right.

This is the principal of reciprocal. It is very obvious that muslims are the worst persecutor of minorities in the whole world. If they are minorities, they will keep insurgurging.

They will accusing everyone else for discrimination. But once in charge, they may even kill or purge every single gentiles like ISIS is doing in Iraq, against Christian.

First of all gentile is a Jewish name for people like you and me, second the reason why non-Muslims do not attend madarsas is because the education taught in such places are either sub par or are entirely religious in nature so who would want to send their children to such places? Even in Pakistan those who can afford it prefer to send their children to private schools, only the poor are forced to send their children to madarsas or worse government run schools.

My bias to what? Read what I said again, I said that I used them as an example, to explain what extremism really is. Which is its very nature simply "None-Acceptance".

which has nothing to do with the fact that an action and a thought are two different things. one man thinking is not equal to him thinking and then doing something based on that thought.

there is a difference...

i also talked about a moron in this particular case...did u miss that ?

Keep on posting irrelevant info here,,u fail to take the bull by its horn,,,,all u need to say is that yes we have a problem and we need to solve it.

I don't hear any of that,,,just some random philosophical jargon serving no purpose really.

I apologize if you can not understand me here, I may have been speaking way too intelligently in a place where I should not have, and I am wholly to blame for that. I wanted an intelligent debate but it appears that I can not find one here, someone who uses phonetics to convey words might not be the right target for such a debate.

His actions will speak than his ritualistic behaviour...... Until no judgement....

Who is "we", and I am part of what exactly? Care to elaborate?

The point here is that I may choose to believe in one god, or I may choose to believe in a thousand gods. The problem arises when people try to shove it down others throat - 'my god is true, yours is false'.

Something I suspect you were trying to convince people that 'there is one god, not multiple gods'.
I respect hinduism and it's teaching bro. Most of them are similar to our beliefs. Don't want to have religious debate here. :)

Singapore is the country the take good care of her Muslim people. In Singapore, Sunni, Shia, Ahmadya all worship in peace, thanks to Singaporean Chinese. You cannot see that in Iran, Iraq, Saudi, Malaysia, Indoneisa...etc

Nevertheless, some Sunni are unhappy. They want to shitt on people. They keep accuse Singaporean Chinese of discrimination. Some Sunni here want to discriminate people. They even deface Ahmadya tomb.

Graves damaged at cemetery in Choa Chu Kang - Straits Times, Singapore

Not only that, some hate Singaporean Chinese until crazy they want to bomb us, and create a paradise of sectarian killing, which they like.

'JI men planned to attack Singapore'

If these Sunni have their ways, everyone will enjoy killing one another. Singaporean Chinese do not want that. We want peace and we want people to love one another.

To the contrary, an idea is a lot more malicious than an action ever was, the propagation of said idea from one person to another is the very basis of how extremism spreads, wither it is a shiekh in a Madrasa that says all Muslim must do Jihad and those who don't will go to hell, to the one saying all Muslims are terrorist and in effect they all should die. They are all the same exact thing.

Which is why fighting a person's action will always lead negative results in the fight against extremism, where the main enemy is in fact the though or idea which needs to be squashed.

If the things mentioned in the list go to someones head, and make him/her believe that he/she is the man-of-God and others are inferior, then for sure he is an extremist.

And I tell you what, a majority of practicing Muslims does indeed think like that. I have seen this tamasha particularly among those who live in abroad, and do manage to follow all good deeds, yet consider others (that very much include fellow Muslims) inferior humans. I remember a friend of mine in States, whom I used to know from my days in Aga Khan University (where I used to teach). He invited us for a lunch, which we gladly accepted. He picked us up from our place, and chatted with both me and my wife (who does not cover her head), during 30 min drive. Upon reaching his home, we learned that his wife wont come in front of me. My wife took lunch with his in the kitchen whereas we had it in the living room. We later invited them several times but he refused to accept our invitation suspecting that we were not cooking halal (zabeeha) in our kitchen.
