I hope your optimism is well founded. Given the fact that Hong Kong courts are presided over by bonafide foreign colonial judges I am not confident at all. He will walk scot-free.

The central government won't let them get away like they used to do since this time is the "Life and Death" moment for HK, if only if those traitors won the majority sits of the legislative council in the coming October, "GAME OVER" for HK, no other choice but at least eliminated the traitor's gang rights to participate the election through criminal charges
Well, thats just my opinion as a Hongkonger who has been monitoring the whole situation for years

I personally believed if the HK basic law "article 23" amendment still failing to anact on its own, Central goverment will put HK under the "Anti-Secession Law" to eliminate seperation movement by law

HKers are more racist and hateful towards foreigners from my experience than Mainlanders.

This depends on what foreigners you are talking about since a lot of HK people fit exactly the white worshipers or lickers you mentioned in other posts. They believe White are superior and better in every way than other skin colors which to me they are just inferiority complex due to colonial and brainwashed education.

Im not sure, usually im not too active here until the lockdown in US, too much free time

Actually most of the hardcored rioters got arrested in the cordon of Poly University and their morale reached the lowest after the incident. Also the HK police cracked down one of their major financial funding to bleed them dry, so no money no full gear. After that there were few incidents but just in small numbers. What is worrisome that seems like their "master" change their tactic to terrorism since the police had arrested several people with guns and bombs that suspect to have association with the riot.
