Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone today accused the Toshiba Machine Company of betraying Japan by selling militarily sensitive technology to the Soviet Union. It was his strongest comment to date on the incident.

Pretext is easy to come by. Toshiba has no submarine technology. It sold Russia tooling equipment.

China being a threat to US is a figment of imagination. Today with US preparing well for the Chinese threat (Unlike Japanese threat of 1941) has acquired rights to four basis in Philippines. On top of that positioning of B-52 bombers, Aircraft carriers in Guam and US has been given rights to Fizi and other island ports has made China very vulnerable.to blocking of trade routes. All Chinese ports both military and commercial port will be blocked at the slightest hint Chinese stupidity. Their naval vessels will be blocked at ports, ships already in the sea will have to get lost in the sea or surrender to US navy. On top of this all commercial and business from the sea ports will be halted. Chinese in fact will be bottled up on their mainland. They will forget about invading Taiwan and they will beg to let the trade begin. This will be worst than economic sanctions imposed on Russia last year.

The funny part is that Chinese know all this hence are intimidating not invading Taiwan.
