Irate India questions rule of law in China

Is this real news at all? Global times is like Government tongue and it is very hard to believe that it publishes daily skirmish like this. I did a google search on "义乌 印度 site:www.globaltimes.cn" (Yiwu India site:Globaltimes.cn | Latest China, world news and business stories, comment from the Global Times shows nothing either) and there's no page showing up. Is that possible that TOI sensationalizes the situation? Where's the link to the original article or India ambusy's letter? Can we confirm it before jumping into the troll contest?

PS: A search on the quoted "Chinese professor"'s word mentioned in the TOI's article gives only 3 sites: TOI, Rediff.com and taaza.com.

What, Chinese-American teenagers beating up another Chinese-American teenager?

Have you ever been to secondary school? Fights happen.

So few guys beaten up in Soccer match. If you were there in the stadium you would have been beaten up the same way.. Grow up Chin Kid!!

.
The drama queen equates the abductions ( which is legal in china, i guess ) to Indians beaten up by Ukrainian racists. Of course chinses did not beat up the man as severely as Ukranians, but you can get the point.

Typical chinese.

Thanks.

Personally I believe it is very wrong to use violence to handle the situation. On the other hand, it is also extremely frustrating for a trader to suffer a huge loss and he/she cannot do anything about it. I think the two governments, instead of argueing with other, should work together to come up with some mechanism so that running back to one's own country should not be a way of escaping debt. Maybe instead of direct paying, citizens of each country will use "government trading money" to pay for the goods and later pay to the government. Something like Governement based Paypal.

come on buddy, I'm from India, I know what being manhandled in a crowded place would mean, but the person in context here was an official from a foreign embassy and that too on the premises of a court. And moreover the people responsible for such an incident were not charged with anything, rather it is considered okay for them to do such a thing to recover their loses from someone remotely connected to the crime. Thats just moronic!

LOL, fainting from manhandling?

Those Chinese-American kids were kicking the sh*t out of another Chinese-American kid, and he was still on his feet the entire time.

banks already have such a mechanism in the form of L/C but the problem is that most companies in China do not accept L/C these days since it takes time to process the documents as well as costs quite a bit more than say wire transfer transaction charges. Most of the buyers always wish to opt for these but traders are usually reluctant especially if dealing in a wholesale/distribution center such as Yiwu. The factories in Guangdong with whom the trade is highest, face no such problems, even if they do, they are solved amicably. Like, I know this one company in GZ who export 90% of their production to India and themselves offer to export the goods on credit. Only thing is they do not release the goods to the buyer at POD without payment. But with companies in Yiwu work a bit differently.

But anyways the issue is, that the company these people sold the goods to was registered to a MiddleEastern guy who fled to UAE or somewhere, while leaving the employees stranded. I just dont get it that how can the authorities hold these people responsible.

that was a teenager, talk to me when you are in your 40s and suffer from diabetes. you continue to prove yourself an @ss with complete disregard for humanity. I pity your parents who gave birth to an ingrate like yourself!

Since somebody asked for it.. This last video.. Watch it and before you open mouth about others keep this in mind.

I will take it off in few minutes because its disgusting..

You can't take it off in a few minutes, since I have already quoted it here. And what exactly is special about some people being beaten up during the course of a robbery anyway?

We have all seen the videos where Indians were beating their own Indian Dalits to death for having slightly darker skin than normal.

But don't worry, I won't post them. :azn:

I thought this was a different incident happened two days ago.

As to the practice of not releasing goods without the payment, what if the seller ran away with the money? Sorry I am business ignorant. I feel the situation here is a different since it is not an established trade relationship in GZ. Here we are talking about one time deal.

Sure, quote it as long as you want. I deleted it because I found it utterly disgusting and disrespectful.. Don't care much about you!!

You always delete your own posts to avoid the moderators anyway. :D

Because you think that you might "faint" if they catch you.

Most of the posts that I have seen from you are deleted afterwards, so it's a good idea to quote them while they are still up.

ofcourse it was not a one time deal, no seller would've given goods to them on credit the first time. They had a working business relationship but clearly unknown to the seller the company's director was working up a scam.

As to seller vanishing after payment, the thing is if you have the B/L and commercial invoice & shipping invoice, along with the payment confirmation from the bank, the logistics company can release the goods to you after verifying all the paperwork. Since the shipping invoice clearly states to hold the goods until payment.

What trolling? The Indian guy was "manhandled", and he "fainted". The same story we hear all the time nowadays. :P

It was 100% on-topic. In fact, it was this exact case.
