Iraqi And Syrian Christians Form An Armed Group “The Lions of the Canyon” Against IS

Yeah,whatever,fudge Russia.

We always had good relations with China,we still do...we were even allies in communist times against Soviets. So,God's speed to you...Asia for you...231.000 square km for us Romanians. :P

Actually more..Forgot Moldova + N. Bukovina + Cadrilater.::P

Let's talk seriously, Russia will not collapse, but it will not try to annex Ukraine, except Crimea.

Ukraine will eventually choose to stay neutral between Nato and Russia, and the current junta government has to step down.

.
Another blah blah, you even forbid Ramadan for some Muslims in China, nevermind you'll never accomodate so many Muslim immigrants as the western world...but somehow you're not racist...tell it to fools like Hazzy, only a mind like his would believe it.
The Western world accommodated the Muslim workers to rebuild their WW2 destroyed countries, that is the primary reason. it was not for sympathy or love for the Muslims, it was the call of the hour. If you were not with the Soviet block at that time , most Romanians would have been used for the same purpose like the Italians and the Portuguese too.

Italians are at 36k per capita..2 trillion $ economy...not to shabby for "slaves".

Well,i guess i'm talking with the same Assyrian expats you're talking about, but they seem pretty vehement of wanting their state. There's no resemblance to Russian colonialism as the Assyrians predate all the others in Iraq, they're the "originals",in fact it would be a historic justice for them

You're talking to people who have a general dislike towards Islam which has grown over Arabs as well, they don't want to be bothered being put in the same pot as us Sand Arabs. They want to say i'm from Assyria and that's all they seek. You should look at the ones in Iraq instead, they're the ones living there, if anything the diaspora Assyrians from Iraq can vote on their party which doesn't even seek it's own state since they all don't over there.. But if they want to then they'll anger Kurds only so let them do so for all I care.

The majority in Iraq known as Arabs aren't much different from Assyrians ethnically. Mix of local and Arab/Islamic culture became widespread during the spread of Islam. It's wrong to look at us like invaders from the peninsula. The Arab world and Arab people aren't all from the Peninsula, they're made up out of different ethnicities.

Russians messing in Europe is the same as the West messing in the Mid East.
( We should carve out ... ) your own words, same shit.

Yeah, Iraq was originally Assyrian, but mind you that Assyrians and Arabs are very closely related to each other, since both are Semitic people. They are as closely related as German to Dutch.

The modern Iraqi people might be descended from the ancient Assyrians, just like some Germanized Dutch people. Not a big deal as they are all Arabs today.

Well, current affairs aren't working for them, aren't they ? What's wrong in a modern day Assyria ? I have the distinctive feeling that Iraq will split in the end either way.Nothing wrong with a Christian state in the Nineveh plains if the Kurds have one.It won't happen though,Western powers don't care about them, plus they don't have the numbers.I was just baiting Hazzy the ISIS lover.

Christians already have a state in the Middle East, it's called Lebanon.....

.
Crusades were 900 years ago and,for your record, they were just as devastating,if not more for us Orthodox...see the 4th Crusade,it broke Eastern Christendom......That being said,,,,welcome to 2014 !

Hazyy ,being a liar, tends to bring out the worst in people,i'm sry but he gets back exactly how he behaves.

The Christians are still thinking in the crusades frame of mind like it shows in some posts on this tread, that is why I have made the analogy, Irak and Afghanistan are very good examples. Please do not get me wrong, Muslims and me being one are living in the 2014 and are aware of the still ongoing crusaders mentality. And never make the mistake of thinking that the Muslims are week, they have never been and they will never be week, it is a well guarded secret. And they have more resources than you can ever think, I am talking about 2014.
Now you are talking about Assyria, next the romans and the Greeks and what have you, and you are asking others to be welcomed to the 21st century. It is kind of an Irony, and you should think about it twice .

Well the "carve out" part was meant to rattle the terror simpathiser we all grew fond off, let's be real, they're like 250k left, talking about their own state is futile.Sadly the Kurds will use them as a propaganda tool (as their "defenders") but in reality they'll just emigrate until they're no more in Iraq...And that's the sad reality.

Christians already have a state in the Middle East, it's called Lebanon.....

No....It's a dual state with Hezz holding the real power in the end.

They are 40% of the population of Lebanon, they share the power but not like before where the Muslim majority was treated as second class citizens, today Muslims rule and equality reigns supreme.

Not our fault is it, thank the Christian US.

Tariq Aziz his Arabic name to fit in as Arab nationalist, his real name Mikhail Yuhanna, an Assyrian who joined the Ba'ath party becoming the minister of foreign affairs during Saddam's reign.

He thanks the US.

Yes,i knew of Tariq Aziz for many years...still can't say that the Baath regime was best for Iraq.....I don't know, the ME shouldn't be in this position in the first place..i mean choosing the "lesser evil".

It was carved out of Syria as a Maronite Christian state.

And still the Christians lost numbers after the war that destroyed the "little France of the ME" just because Muslim militias weren't happy.

True, but both the army and the government are Christians
