So the bad blood is mainly between PRC and the US led Anglo world.

The Christians have lived peacefully within the Muslim world for a very long time as full citizens of their counties of origin, so when and outside entity like the Vatican or others try to formant trouble and uses the Christians in that aim, the Muslim the countries reaction is against that , which is considered as a foreign intervention in internal affairs of sovereign nations.

Arming the Christians to defend themselves when the state fails to protect them is obviously a good idea, but you should understand that their misfortune is shared by the Muslims who can not defend themselves either and they are the majority, be it in death, pain or victimization.
So, arming them should be left to the state where they live not foreigners, 'cause in the latter case they will e seen as foreign entities and will be targeted as such, which will be bad for them and worsen their situation.

We know that you show no sympathy for Muslims whatsoever, the crusades are a historical testimony to that, where Christian crusaders had as they have said Muslim civilian's blood up till their knees, or the inquisition in Spain when hundreds of thousands of Muslims were slaughtered and beheaded. But ultimately the Muslims survived and won. In the first case they have liberated Jerusalam, and had all three faiths to live in it, in the second case Spain was Christian only by name since Islam went into everyone of their walks of life and today they have recognized it.
