Out of all Arab countries, Iraq has always been the best at football.

Not in terms of results be it trophies won, World Cup participations or the league and league clubs. KSA has traditionally been the best. But Iraq and Egypt are definitely in the top 3. Iraq are better than KSA today though. Most countries are, LOL, since we are horrible today. But at least we had a good start to the African Cup of Nations qualification so maybe we will win titles again soon although I doubt it.

Other than that - traditionally no other Arab countries were good aside from Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Kuwait who had their moments a few times.

UAE are starting to build something exiting and they won the Gulf Cup (regional Arab competition) this year.

Also, can you answer me, why Pakistan are so bad at football? You have a population of 200 million, the English influence must have given you football too and from my experience then Pakistanis like football too as we Arabs.

Although cricket is probably a more popular sport.

Hell, India, Bangaldesh are probably even worse when it comes to football despite having so many people. Will never understand that.

Pakistan has a bad team.

But there are some good players.

I just wanted to say that Iraqis are very talented in football.

Also, with proper training our Makrani people can give KSA a run for their money.

I think Makranis are also Arabs. They live on the coastal areas of the gulf in Baluchistan.

Makranis have East African ancestry as far as I know though they were brought to the coast of Balochistan by the Omanis. As for why Pakistan has a weak football team, there are several reasons for this. Firstly football doesnt have the mass following that cricket has or even a moderate following that hockey has although things seem to be changing slowly now in the urban areas at least. Secondly there is no proper domestic system which can attract youngsters into becoming footballers. There is the "pakistan premier league" but due to a lack of cash and sponsorship the salaries given to the players are very low. Thirdly there is this culture existing in Pakistani society which I am sure you are aware of in which parents discourage their children from taking sports too seriously and want them to think of sports as a hobby rather than a serious career prospect. You can understand which point of view they are coming from considering how badly paid most sportsmen are (excluding cricket of course).
However with some investment I see no reason why Pakistan cant became a strong footballing nation at least in Asia. You mentioned the Makranis being good at football. If I have read properly then football is also the most popular sports amongst Balochis and the people of Gilgit Baltistan.

On topic congratulations to the Iraqi team. You have some really talented players in your U20 team and your future looks bright

LOl. Man, you can't follow Real Madrid and Barcelona at the same time. You have to pick one. They are the greatest rivals ;)
A lot of Barcla and RM fans are either bandwagons or glory hunters. Since Ronaldo came to RM in 3 years ago, the club had become popular and more bandwagons abandoned their old fan club and supported them because of Ronaldo, same to Barcelona because of Messi. I agree, both team are the biggest rival when playing together.

Chelsea fan :smitten:

He is left back, but we even see him left attacker many times, he is everywhere.
Yes they recently made many play in the senior team only it caused many problems, Zico left, they changed tactics, everything became a mess.
Younis Mahmoud and some other seniors do not have the stamina anymore like the younger players.

Im not that much of an expert on this as I said I do not follow clubs so much, there are a few that could be in European teams only it is like T-123456 said, they have many other options that are good. even though EU could develop Ali very well since he has powerfull shots, how big is the chance they will contact him ? idk.
Im sure many scouts have seen him,so he will have many options.
U-17,U-20 WCs are markets where many clubscouts checkout the players.

Makranis are Sudanese and Somalian descendant from central and East Africa , They are Damn Good in Football but  Again Baloch never able to get that much response from Islamabad whether to speak of any sector.
Any way best of luck to Iraq.

He will be the first to play in the Championsleague if he signs with Galatasaray.
