2012 Russian-Iraqi arms deal involves large numbers of T90MS tanks.
T90S ( export version of T90A ) had been rejected by Iraq earlier.

Congrats

A very Good addition from reliable partner like Russia

.
I think the Russians are trying to make amends by supplying top notch equipment this time so that their defense equipment can be considered trustworthy again.... good move IMPO

Btw a question, do we have any developments on a remote controlled weapons station? and i'm talking about a modern one with thermal imaging and stuff.... can we develop such stuff or it too is gonna come from China in the form of "noodle packets"?

Buy TANKs and APC from Pakistan. Also KSA, UAE, Oman, Yemen, Jordan and other Muslim countries should work with Pakistan on Al-Khalid Block-II to locally produce it.

Jesus just stop man.

Yes we can. Noodle packets is what we can afford. Now if you pay your taxes then we can develop a lot more than remote control turrets.

Then our conjecture we made in the Iraqi armed forces thread successful.
Masallah! do you have information on how many there are?

.
But why ? :hitwall:
They were not the ruskies who bestowed democrasy upon them

200-220 for the first batch, that also is the number of personnel that have done training on the T72's recently. But they said they need over 1000-1300 tanks so that won't be the last purchase.

The T-99 will see the light by 2020.

Iraq should have waited for it, worked on its Abrams's platform till the arrival of the new tank.

Anyway, the T-90 isn't a bad choice.

We will also buy T99 insallah
But waiting 6 years is too long without adding more tanks

K2 is too expensive
