It all dpends on what happens in Syria. From the looks of it there will be no intervention in Syria by NATO because the West is tired of war and the middle east. How far will Iran go to protect Assad? There are rumors that Assad's 4th Armoured Division is being reinforces with Iranian mercenaries,Hezbollah agents and Iraqi Shiite militamen. If it looks like Assad is losing will Iran send troops to protect Assad? I doubt it more then likely Syria will breakup into ethnic and sectarian fiefdom. That will be bad for Hezbollah and Iran. All the GCC nations have to do is arm the FSA with ammo,MANPADs and anti tank missiles and the war against Assad will change in a matter of months.
