Unfourtanatly Missiles are not effective at that range... Iran could strike at US bases at Gulf but They can't actually do much ahrm to Israel with missiles expect heavy civilian casulities which will only help Israels cause of showing themselves as victims...

US had attacked Iraq and Afghanistan... What makes you think that they will not attack Iran.... Is Iran several folds powerful than Iraq?

To be frank, Neither Russia nor China is ready for a war with US.... specifically at this point! A single bullet will NOT create WW-3? Some time back read a news that Russia sold the codes for Iran missile for another information from Israel!

China is progressing at a rapid pace, and US is the China's largest importer!

Remember Israel is a developed country, why would they risk to suffer? On the other side, once Iran gets their nuclear weapons, we will see a much more peaceful Middle East. Ironically nuclear weapons in this day and age is our best chance for perpetual peace. The Cold War and tensions between India and Pakistan is a testament to that.

I am sick and tired of BS comments like this, when people think about usa v Iran, they think about the whole usa militry v Iran. but that's not correct, since only the 5th fleet and their bases will be mainly used. Iran has been preparing for the usa for the last 30 years.

Are you serious? US has plenty military bases all over the Middle East and they would all be involved in the war effort if war breaks out. Not to mention what makes you think US can't deploy more forces if needed? :s

I don't think this is a serious discussion, Iran poses no challenge to an even partial US military. Iran can certainly be a nasty spoiler and give the US plenty grief, but nothing more.
