Iran's Armed Forces Urge Egyptian Army to Accept Results of Presidential Election

TEHRAN (FNA)- The General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces in a message felicitated the Egyptian nation on the election of Mohammed Mursi as the country's new president, and urged Egypt's Armed Forces to accept election results.


"The Islamic Republic of Iran's Armed Forces congratulate the great Egyptian nation on the victory of the first stage of Egypt's revolution in the era of Islamic Awakening," said the message issued on Monday.

You arabs change alliances like underwear. You favour whoever is giving you money and weapons on a certain day so who knows who's going to be who's ally tomorrow. And we Iranians aren't looking for alliances with nobody in the Arab world. We just don't want to have any lunatics like saddam or American slaves like mubarak in the region. Whatever the Egyptians choose is none of our concern, as long as Egyptians themselves lead Egypt and not some puppet like Saddam or Mubarak.

btw, you're forgetting why Iranians are so indifferent to Syria's current situation. For 8 years saddam gassed and attacked the Iranian nation with the help of 54 arab and Western nation, including yours (which bakrolled the Iraqi war machine). Syria didn't help saddam and infact helped us get through.

This muslim brotherhood that you're talking about would also absorb Israeli and American attention. That's good for Iran every day of the week.
