Please do let us know what you're trying to say, once you figure it out.

She is the future of Iran. Because she speaks the truth. And people instinctively recognize that, whether it agrees with their sensibilities or not. She scares the sh!t of Islamists. Because she calls them out for the hypocrites that they are. There are more and more of her every day, on every street, bus and taxi. Regular Iranians defending their rights and putting Islamists back in their place. This is a good thing. Better to have a gradual social movement than a sudden large scale massacre of Islamists.

If she is the future of Iran. May Iraq help you.

I don't look down on other people, unlike some of our judgmental religious friends here! So if Iraq can shine a way to a better future for us, I'm all for it. Unfortunately, they seem to be deeper in it than us for the moment.

The issue of feminism is a global phenomena. Its not a good idea to hijack that cause for political and anti-religious purposes, especially for a country that is absolutely theologically ruled i.e "a theocracy". Would you identify the fundamental reasons for (if any) the incompatibility between feminism and Islam.

Plus I really don't know why you are blaming all of Iran's problems on "Islamists". Iran was just as bad before the revolution.

I don't know about no feminism/masculinism. Men and women are both human. And humans are born free and are endowed with a brain by their creator to think for themselves and determine their own future. And anybody who attempts to subvert that natural order in the name of Communism, Christianity or Islam will sooner or later be dealt with.

What you are asking for is impossible. Never will happen. Ever Ever.

In order to determine your own future as free born man (or woman) in a natural order means you will have to delete every Government, Religion, Property, Banking, Country, Industry and basically every institution of the modern world.

You will never be able to determine your own future. Because there are limits to the world.

If you want to deal with everyone who subverts the natural order of man, start off with the entire world.

Mullahs have killed far more people and have done far more grievous damage to Iran than the vain-glorious shah ever did. Iran today is in a shambles in every aspect you can think of. The Islamists have destroyed Iran's environment. The bottom has fallen out of the economy. People are poorer. More helpless. Iran is militarily weaker and surrounded by more enemies than ever before. Iranians have been brutalized by the islamists for 40 years. They are some of the angriest people anywhere in the world. There is starting to be deep ethnic divisions within the country, due to the discriminatory policies of the regime. The moral fabric of society under the islamists has unraveled. Corruption and theft are rife in the society. The future of the country itself is threatened because of what these animals have been doing for the past 40 years. The effects of this regime will be with Iran for a long time to come.

Shah didn't give political freedom to Iranians. But everything else was pretty normal. The Islamists were far more politically oppressive. And they took away everything else too...

No that is not true. Living in society is not the opposite of free will and feedom of choice.

I started a lengthy thread about this a few years back in the Iranian section. Really don't feel like digging it up right now...

You have the Mullahs because you had the shah

Its that simple

The shah was a uber liberal clown that suppressed the religious sentiment of iranians for decades and there was a reaction to this

Iran has done remarkably well (oil probably) with the weight of U.S and allies trying to kill it for decades

Iranians have no balance, trying to overthrow mullahs with uber liberal secular religion hating weirdos is just as dangerous and polarising

Look at Iran pre-Islam i.e. history over the last 5000 years. This will show your statement of blaming the regime for death is out of context.

Iran today is in a shambles in every aspect you can think of.

So is most of the world.

Iranians have been brutalized by the islamists for 40 years

So has most of the world. But this is not because of the Islamists. Brutalisation has been going on for millennia.

There is starting to be deep ethnic divisions within the country, due to the discriminatory policies of the regime.

This is the same everywhere. From black vs white america to anti-brexit and pro-brexit UK

The moral fabric of society under the islamists has unraveled.

This is everywhere. Look at the moral fabric of Saudi, US, Europe, China. Look at the Pope, Look at the Jews, Look at Capitalists and the Communists.

Your opinions are yours and I'm ok with that. your definitions of 'uber liberal' or having balance is of no relevance here.

what's important is that opinions of the Iranian people about their own country, which is not being taken into account. And that is the problem.

The Islamists were far more politically oppressive.

Who told you that politics was the answer to your problems? The democratic countries have it worse. UK is in chaos, France has revolutions on her streets, the US is unemployed.

And who told you that non-politics is the answer to your problems? Kingdoms (saudi) and Communists (china) nations have the worst human rights records on the planet.

The answer to your problems are not a change in the regime of Iran, that will not help the Iranian people. You will need a world-wide revolution against the powers that be

I disagree with you. The world has fundamentally moved in the direction of rule of law and freedom of choice in the recent past. A lot more countries are prosperous than 40 years ago. There more democracies than ever before in history. It is Iran that has moved in a different direction in the past 40 years.

No they are not. The vast majority of people are poorer and less healthier, less happier and the world is more dangerous.

The idea that Iran has been left behind in global development is nonsense. 90% of people in the west will be bankrupt in 90 days if they lost their job.

It takes 30 years to buy a house the size of a cardboard box.

The health system is broke.

NATO lost every war since ww2.

The world is in political chaos.

Death rate is the highest of the modern world today.

Prove to me the international system (called "stability" "security" "freedom" "law" and "progress") that we all worship is not breaking down.

Trust me Iran being in isolation is a good thing

Maybe that's how things are in your alternate reality. But in the world I live in a great number of countries from Asia to Eastern Europe and central and south America have transitioned to some form of democracy and rule of law and many countries including China and India have become incomparably wealthier than before. The numbers are there... no need to bother with our feelings about things..

I'll leave you with 1 comparison. When the revolution happened every 65 Iranian rial bought 1 USD. Today that you can't do that for 140,000 rials. That's a 2100% loss of value of the Iranian currency. Enough said!
