Does it mean that that these UAV's with MANPAD might have regular CAP?

Fairly standard MANPAD with minimum adjustment on UAV's that fly under ~200kph
But for faster Jet powered UAV's flying at 900kph you'll likely need to make various adjustments because MANPADS don't have much power & It wouldn't make much sense to me to fire a gas launched missile from a tube at high speeds your just adding dead weight to your UAV for no good reason it would make more sense to develop a cheep solid fuel rocket with ceramic vectoring controls & optical seeker with a gyro on the nose giving you a higher targeting aspect so you don't have to point the nose directly at your target which will be difficult at short ranges & high speeds & for daytime operations you can use standard digital cameras with imaging software rather than more expensive IR seekers a cheap small data link or wifi to direct the missile using onboard guidance system(on the UAV) directly towards the target for the 1st 100-200 meters & let the missiles seeker do the rest (fly straight towards the target)
For short ranges within visible range (5-10km max) installed on UAV's that would be a far better way to go & all the tech already exists in Iran it's just a matter of putting the right systems together

even if you could do it adding a gas launched tube on a UAV flying at 600-900kph makes no sense at all!

As far as I know so far UCAVs have been used mostly in air-to-surface purposes only in one occasion during Iraq war American armed a Predator with Stinger. do we have any missile developed just for UCAVs and air-to-air missions?

Raptor22,

The Stinger-armed MQ-1 incident occurred before the Iraq War. In this particular incident, the MQ-1 wasn't carrying them so much to actually take out enemy aircraft but to lure them.

MQ-1's fly at under 200kph

And it's a matter of threat assessment if they don't face areal threats then they wont be armed with such weapons but if they are they will be and most of the world didn't even know the RQ-170 existed until it was downed by Iran so I would be carful assuming that such platform don't exist just because they haven't made public!

Also, US has a large Air Force with Air superiority with F-22's that can intercept at extremely high speed so it's a matter of threat assessment as well

Skyshadow,

Qods Aviation should either upgrade it's UAV designs & Weapons that go with them or move out of the way and let Shahed Aviation pave the way for the future!

I would say the Saegheh makes the mohajer-4 outdated for air to ground missions

Why put an unguided rocket on a UAV when the tech to build TV guided operator controlled air to ground munition can easily be built by high school students
plus Iran has already produced the fire & forget versions of the Sadid & once you have already spent the time developing the hardware & software then mass producing it becomes easy!

If they couldn't make the Mohajer-6 superior to the Shahed-129 then they shouldn't of built it in the 1st place!

1.state of Saeghe is unclear, also you don't wanna compromise your stealth tech during normal operations.
2.when this drone (M4) is produced, for whom or what purpose is unclear as well. what's it's accuracy or do they plan to mount a lase guided warhead on the rocket, we don't know.

but my guess is that they want to use it for recognition missions like in Iraq and Syria where small group of terrorists use one or two vehicles to execute a fast hit and run mission. these rockets gives us a very fast reaction capability without inflecting a heavy weight on the recognition drones.

These rocket on our AH-1 won't get fired by 1 or 2 . outing 2 of these weak and inaccurate rocket on the mohajer is just adding some weight without gaining anything.
Honnestly unguided weapons for UAV is waste of energy . they certainly won't hit target.
By the way as mohajer usually can carry up to 80-90 kg if they insist on hydra instead of something like hellfire they must increase the number of rockets to 6 instead if 2
