What's new

Iranian Space program

so get this Iran will soon send 1m resolution satellite to space and Defense ministry has tested engine for massive SLV that will put first Iranian satellite to 36000 km orbit in less then 1 year.

Overall big wow

Will believe it when I see it.

Iran has promised many things regarding space program in last 5 years. If it were all true, Iran would have 50+ Satellites in space by now.

agreed that is why im not as exited as i should be maybe we see it under Raesi government, well this time Jahromi said it him self.

Jahromi is no longer reliable either.

This massive SLV engine that suddenly no one has detected or leaked to the media?

They couldn’t even get Simorgh design to work. They failed with Safir (yes it put up a few satellites but the success rate was abymsal). Then they couldn’t get the Simorgh too work. Doesn’t lead to confidence they magically can get a more massive newer engine SLV to work.

Overall, not optimistic. And IRGC has gone radio silent on their end as well. One launch a year is propaganda, not a space program.

While I do not consider Jahromi a good source for such as huge feat, I would stay more humble and would stop there.

This is not an area that you expect crystal clear information and updates.Being secretive and unpredictable is being wise in missile science.

. . . . .
Look at the comments...
iran was kind of sabotaged by our minister jahromi this guy went so much under the radar that many ignore him but we will make sure that all of those who sabotaged iran will end up in prison including rouhani jahangiri jahromi and hemmati so irans failure are caused by the likes i just mentioned
the irgc send a rocket into space just to make the point that iran can do it and to not miss irans timeline for the first islamic country to send a satellite on its own to space which iran thanks to irgc achieved to do but the space agency is really worthless today it has to be cleaned up first completely they failed so badly and purposefully that the irgc did it basically in a matter of a few days to hinder their obstruction

In the next step, assuming the distance from one shoulder of his shoulder to the midline of his waist, ie the base of 22.5 cm in the image, the diameter of this engine on which Shahid Tehrani Moghaddam was writing is about 240 cm (estimated) (these numbers) And measurements are made with software and have relatively good accuracy).

The interesting point of this measurement is that the thickest solid fuel engine in Iran, which was officially unveiled, is the Zul-Jannah satellite engine with a diameter of 1.5 meters, which was also unveiled last year and was announced as the strongest solid fuel engine made in Iran!
Now, looking at this picture, it can be concluded that Martyr Tehrani Moghaddam had developed at least one solid fuel engine with a diameter of about 2.4 meters before his martyrdom.

-> thats ~ 1 decade ago, wonder how far Iran is now....
