Now we wait to see what they will mount on top of that hull. So far no Mowj class frigate/corvette has been the same. They are all different, with Sahand and Shiraz being very obvious in their differences.

I doubt it. According to Admiral Sayyari, it is till going through the tests.

Calibrating all your equipment takes time

And I don't think the Fatteh class is worth taking into serial production! Ghadir Class is more than sufficient for the Persian Gulf if deployed in numbers but if you want something beyond that and to patrol the India Ocean all the way down to at least within 1000km of Diego Garcia then you'll need a "Force Multiplier" and sub with greater weapons payload and dive capability than the Fatteh Class!

According to Iranian officials Iran has increased steel production from 20 million tones a year to 30 Million tones a year just in the past 4 year and most of these are government owned so the idea that they can't afford to divert 2000 tones a year towards sub production or 5000 tones a year towards Tank & APC production is clearly absurd! At least and at an absolute minumum 1%-2% of all the steel and most other alloys produced by the country should go directly towards domestic weapons production!

but the problem is not how many tons of steel produces Iran every year, but how much special steel suitable for submarines produces
