stones and sticks,
not sure it's hard to find weapons in Iran especially when the imperialists come.

it would be total war.
Then entire Iran would be bombed.

NATO could finish Taliban pretty easily in a month by using a strategy akin to 'razing the ground'. The reason why Taliban is alive is because it is an 'insurgency'. They remain ad-mixed with the civilians and non-combatants. If they were to come out and fight in the open, they wouldn't last a week. If what you suggest happened, there would be no more civvies left (male and young) and entire population centres could be cluster bombed with impunity.

OTOH Would save all the redevelopment expenditure.

because it goes against your useless big carriers it is propaganda

Oh, come on yavar mate? Any two of the eleven top carriers on the planet at full operational load could successfully face the Air Force of Iran. I assume that you are either Iranian or taking their side but refusing to face reality is not the way to go to favor your side.

At battle readiness, the Carl Vinson and CDG ( both present in the Persian Gulf as we speak ), could provide 14 Super-Hornets, 24+ Hornets, 24+ Rafales, 4-6 Growlers, 6+ EC2 Hawkeyes, up to 8 combat helos for anti submarine warfare and CSAR with transport capability ( 2 Greyhounds ) to maintain their resources. They'd also bring at least 2 nuclear attack subs with them and their defensive anti-air Frigates at mininum.

It a bad idea to underestimate a potential enemy; always is … for you, not for it!!!

Good day to you and all, Tay.

IRGC Commander Highlights Iran's Full Control over Southern Waters
February 25, 2015 - 13:04
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari praised the military power of the Iranian Navy, saying that the naval forces have “full control” over the country's southern waters.

“An unparalleled power has been gained (by Iranian forces), which we do not want to test it on the ground,” General Jafari said on the sidelines of the massive military drills staged by the IRGC Navy in the Persian Gulf, south of Iran, on Wednesday.

“But if, God forbid, that day comes (the day of real war), definitely the Sea of Oman, the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf will be under full control of the Iranian naval forces,” he added.

The naval exercises, codenamed The Great Prophet-9, are underway in the Strait of Hormuz, known as the most strategic waterway in the Persian Gulf.

Pointing to the progress of the military drills, the commander said, “Thanks God, all missiles launched during the exercises have hit the targets and were successfully test-fired.”

General Jafari also made assurances that all of the military drills are staged with the aim of ensuring peace and security in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.

Other high-ranking Iranian military officials are also in the area during the first stage of the drills, including Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Gholam Ali Rashid and IRGC Navy Commander Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi. Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani has also travelled to the area.

Hundreds of speedboats, armed with missiles, have been deployed to take action in the drills.

During the first stage of the war game on Wednesday morning, the IRGC speedboats carried out mine-laying operation in the Strait of Hormuz area.

The Strait of Hormuz, a narrow waterway between Iran and Oman, connects the Persian Gulf with the Sea of Oman.

It is the only sea passage from the Persian Gulf to the high seas and is one of the world's most strategically-important choke points.

Commander: IRGC Naval Mines Unimaginably Advanced
February 25, 2015 - 12:06
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy Commander Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi said his forces are in possession of such advance naval mines that the US would not believe.

“We have the most advanced naval mines of different types that Americans can never imagine,” Fadavi told reporters on the sidelines of naval exercises in the Persian Gulf on Wednesday.

The commander noted that the IRGC mines could be adjusted to be laid at different water depths.

The IRGC naval exercises, codenamed The Great Prophet-9, began on Wednesday in the Strait of Hormuz, known as the most strategic waterway in the Persian Gulf.

Earlier in the day, the forces in the war game attacked a mock warship by firing different missiles. A real-size model of a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier, 333 meters in length, became the target of “Nasr” coast-to-sea cruise missiles, 107mm rockets fired from assault speedboats, and ballistic missiles with pin-point accuracy.

Elsewhere in his comments, Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi said the IRGC is also in possession of “special vessels” that differ from what has been made public so far.

“There are different sizes of these vessels, and we are not going to reveal their dimensions as long as the enemy does not do something stupid,” the commander stressed.

Fadavi had already unveiled plans for the IRGC’s attainment of a new type of high speed boats with the breakneck velocity of 80 knots (148 km/h).

Why they dont shoot with AShBM on such a big mockup?
Instead they shoout wih NASR or QADER/NOOR missiles on a static object..
Also they fire missiles from soil, camera shows the start and rise, but not the impact itself!?!?
Also one missile is clearly missing the target (static!) in one video...

I wanted to see something like this:
