This thing not only looks menacing but carries a devastating firepower of 96 launchers and probably capable for antisubmarine warfare with its two helicopter bays. A serious high seas threat for any navy especially when you have a fleet of these escorted with logistics ship.

I listened to Khanzadi interview, he solved one of my main misunderstanding about submarine development line (Nahang and Ghadir) in Iran.

Also I think Besat submarine would be faster and easier for Iranian scientists to develop.

Yea I know, the full size prototype is to be ~20Ft(~6Meters) and they have already finished all the testing for 50% scale model flying prototype.

Iran's Navy is hand's down THE MOST active of all branches of the Artesh when it comes to conducting their own R&D and not sitting back and relying on the MOD to do everything for them and by the most part all they truly lack is the proper funding to make projects like this a reality in a sufficient amount of time and in sufficient quantities.

They changed old Besat plan, Besat supposed to be around 1200 ton and its early maps was ready to build. I do not know why they did not change the name of the new project 3000 submarine to new one.

I guess with this jump the next Iranian submarine after Besat would be Atomic power with around 8000 ton.

agreed, well Beast is well established project and i think that's the reason for not changing its name, i think next project will weight around 6000-8000 tons

thats Loghman trining ship it weighs 5,000 tons, has a length of 135 meters, a width of 16 meters and its capable of sailing up to 8,000 miles.

how oid are you these are not vertical missile they look like torpedo system is in front of the ship

I think they are canister for anti-ship missiles

well all has been said, this is a mock up a lot will change in final product, to me they look like 2 long range ground to ground cruise missiles ( or torpedoes ) containers and 4 long range anti ship cruise missiles but Iran has unveiled UAV for its navy so maybe one of those containers is for UAVs
