An old post of mine. I believe in the future there will be IRIN/IRGCN forwards ocean bases/UCAV carriers.

My current predictions (based upon logic and published articles) in a few years are:

4+ or 4++ gen Kowsar-II
Sejjil based MaRV-ICBMs
Bavar 373 becomes equivalent to S-500
Stealth Shahed 171 into IRIAF/IRGCAF
Air to Air UCAV with WVR missiles
KAMAN-22/FOTROS/GAZA with SIGINT/ELINT roles
Unveiling of Iranian possession of initially 8-10 mid to low yield Fission devices.

something that was needed but executed badly.
they used normal droned for this not drones specially designed for this type of operation.
now the drone must land inside Iran. they could modify one or two drone to be able to land on water. or used drones like yaser for shorter range reconnaissance .

They can be caught with a net that is raised and drone flies into it.

Drone falling into salt water is much harder modification (and expensive) modification.

Who would put 4 missile in a single cell? Mk-41 only does 2

MK41 does. In fact, they can fit 4 ESSM I and II generation.

Spanish F100 does.

Note, in the video I posted the commentator mentioned that some land and some go back to the ship. BUT no imagery was shown. Given the structure of the ship unsure how that could be done(even with a net). Water maybe? Maybe this reference was only to the quadcopters. Shrug.
