Hopefully we'll see some nice equipment in upcoming army day. But I have to say the exterior design looks very basic and crude to be honest

Me too. but iran always cares about the effectiveness of military equipment. and the beauty of many accessories was not important to our army.

This thing looks like its intended for the Internal security role as it does not have a V shaped hull capable of providing a Landmine protection and it looks too big and unprotected for the border patrol.

Exactly, looks for to simple and crude for military role. Frankly, it seems far to crude for any role really.

probably for gathering intelligence and information support in the city or in the battlefield. its tooooo big i think its bigger than a tank

Sounds like the designers couldn't decide to have V shaped hull or not. Make it big or not.

Internal security Vehicles don't need a V shaped hull and they don't need to be small. Iran already has at least one smaller Armoured Car in production for Security Forces so they must have had requirement for a larger platform otherwise why would they spend resources on this project.

looks pretty bare bones to be frank, even for internal security. do we have an idea what kind of motorpool is being developed by iran rn? can i get a summary on what's being/been developed?
