Why do you think they did not just reverse engineer the Vulcan which Iran has? It shoots 20mm and has much higher rate of fire. My only explanation is that, the 0.50 cal bullets moharam uses are more available and thus it makes more sense economically speaking to make a 0.50 cal gatling gun.

Other than the Arash sniper, I don't think Iran uses any other gun which uses 30mm. Minus the Vulcan too of course.

That tank on the left is NOT a chiftan. It's a M-60A1. It's the same tank Iran upgraded recently (the cream looking one).
The one you call Z-4 is the chiftan.

Dude, the z-4 has not even been unveiled yet, you mean z-3?. I agree with you than Iran's ground forced are lacking serious armour. Iran recently announced they are developing liquid armour for tanks.
