We need a heavy helicopter to support columns of ground forces. We currently have CAS fighters to make an umbrella for the helicopters. However the CAS fighters such as Kowsar do not have that much of support from 4++ and 4.5 gen fighter jets but we can leave the role to long range missiles to defuse the air power of the enemy.

But we have a serious shortage of heavy attack helicopters. Where is the shahed-216 Btw? Hope IRGC takes it seriously and heavily invests in the program. Otherwise these tanks even if the most advanced in the universe, would be sitting docks against enemy Choppers/drones/ATGM......

guess its from the wargame last year , but I wonder if the cover on the tank is the cover that supposed to protect the tank against Heat Seeking missiles ?

Or like the Zolifghar project they are trying to hide it’s the same tank in different appearances.

But usually that is to hide heat so it’s doesn’t show up on thermal cameras on UAVs, Fighter jets, Helicopters, and anti tank missiles.

The camouflage also helps hide the tank from other tanks/infantry as well as recon teams from the air.

We saw an attack helicopter under construction at a HESA facility earlier this year that looked like Shahed-216
