Still though, they are pretty obsolete. Pakistan and Iran are pretty close; if we had a better foreign policy - Pakistan would be helping Iran out. JF-17s and Al Khalids could significantly improve Iran's technological gap. Even Al Zarrar is better than anything Iran's Armoured Corps have.

Al Zarrar

Al Khalid

But Primary focus Iran should have is Air Force.
that was funny
jf -17 enjine russian avionic and bodu=y chinesse .assembely in pakistan
al khalid fully upgraded by chinesee and it has not even gone in fully production
no iran does not need such standard ,,,i suggest you watch iranian missiles, drones ,frigates which all has been mad by iran
it's a bit slow but its steady and its all home made

Jf-17's body is all made in Pakistan, engine is exported from Russia; but nothing wrong with that.

Al Khalid hasnt been upgraded by Chinese - Al Khalids are upgraded and worked on by HIT; also its in full production. Iranian technology is all based off of pre-soviet era equipment and cant come close to Pakistan.

It depends on what field of tech we are talking about... Scientifically and technologically both military and civilian Iran is not only centuries ahead of Pakistan but all other Muslim nations combined... but militarily we have to split it down to categories...

Iran is very advanced and on the edge of tech some aspects of military hardware such as Radars, Torpedos, Speed boats, Missile boats, UAVs and UCAVs, Cruise Missiles, Ballistics and on the verge of becoming a pioneer in Electronic warfare, precision weapons, A-A systems, Submarine, Naval ships...

Iran is trying to create a foot print in ground forces weaponry too but although the speed is slow but it is steady and making impressive strides lately... Zolfaghar III tank, Light infantry weapons, light, semi and Heavy snipers, launchers and carriers, precision ammunition, robotic systems and ect are some of Iranian achievements in ground weaponry...

From civilian point of view, Iran is even more advanced in contemporary techs and high-tech ones... Bio-chemistry, Bio-physics, robotics, medicine, aero-space, nano, composites, machinery, heavy industries, engineering are all sometimes THE ONLY ONE in whole region and Islam world..

Pakistan with or without the assistance of its allies is also advanced in some aspects of tech but unfortunately is lacking a lot behind its potential.. I wish soon we can also be proud of Pakistani science and tech... We need more of Islamic nations in order to prove to the world that Islam is in essence a religion of wisdom and science and progress and laziness and backwardness of most of Muslims today does not mean there is something wrong with Islam than the people themselves...

my brother as long yours and mine enemies think we are nothing and we are incapable and backward it means we winning .

US has tried for past 35 years to show Islamic Republic as threat and Iranophobia .
why do you think we unveil such thing

What is that abomination? Looks like a mad scientist experiment gone bad.
On a serious note, that thing is a Russian BTR 60 that Iranians have mounted that horrendous looking turret in an effort to make a tank ... terrible in every respect.

They have been modernized with domestic avionics and weapons upgrades.

And we all know what that means.....literally nothing. But keeping a 60 year old plane in service till date, is definitely some deal

Agreed...why are they launching cruise missiles when they could simply fly overhead and drop bombs.

Save money on gas
